Yeah, I was a Red Devil myself. Thought I’d mentioned it before-I’ll have to look up my posting archive-it was a while ago.

I was in 232 from ‘79 to ‘84-In the Marine Corps from 1978-1986. I was a spark-chaser in Electric Shop-Phixin’Phantoms.

I do rmemeber a conversation we had ... it has been awhile ... don't remember specifics.

I was in the Corps from Sept. 69 thru Sept. 73 and assigned to VMFA 232 Red Devils in '72. We were stationed in Iwakuni, Japan and were deployed to Danang (Rocket City) in 1972 as part of the Linebacker Air Campaign against North Vietnam.

At the time I was in Danang my Mother and Father (Retired Marine MGySgt of 25 years) were approxametly 200 miles away in Savanakhet, Laos. They had been there since 1963. He was working for the US State Department advising and supplying the Lao Army and Air Force.

Interesting times for me and my Parents!
