The most Absurd Political Statement Seen in this Election!
Sierra Club Mailer | 11/4/08 | Self

Posted on 11/04/2008 8:47:19 AM PST by off-roader

This is directly off of a flyer that the jackholes from the Sierra Club sent to every household in Vegas.

On Global Warming they claim that Barack Obama...

"Has a plan to cut global warming pollution 80% by 2050. Will help bring energy costs down by requiring polluters to pay for their pollution and refund that money to the consumers"

WHAT THE FLYING F !?!?!?!?!?!

I have a headache trying to make legitimate sense of this absolute garbage.

Obviously "the polluters" are American utilities and industry. These liars are saying that when the cost of providing services and products goes up due to their global warming extortion racket the consumer costs actually go down?

HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT?

And that while the cost of doing business increases, the service companies and industries will also have to pay people who are using their services and products?

THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!

Did I miss something here outside of this rank lie meant for consumption of the mouth breathing, liberal masses?

FWIW, it makes perfect sense to a liberal.

He does, it’s called destroying the U.S. economy. Confiscatory ‘cap and trade’ schemes, higher gasoline taxes, protectionism and a plan to put most of the populace on the dole once the economy really tanks.

I’ll point out that Sierra Club’s flyer is also pollution. They should pay for their hypocrisy.

It is ridiculous to raise the cost of producing energy with some kind of polution tax, only to then refund to consumers who are paying the cost of producing energy in the first place. Why pay an extra $400 for polution tax in your heating bill, just to get it refunded to you.

But, it doesn’t matter, because by the time they bankrupt the energy producers, and put us all out of a job, we’ll be burning fires in our basement to stay warm and riding horses to work and producing many more greenhouse gases than before.

Liberals think companies have piles of money lying around in their basements (that they presumably have “stolen” from “poor people”). So The Obominable One is going to come riding in to the rescue and make those evil companies take that money they've been hoarding to themselves out and after spending a lot of it on “pollution controls” (look up the Village of Cheshire, Ohio and the Galvin Plant for an idea of how well that works) they're going to hand it out to people like candy on Halloween.

Pffft, you’re leaving out details, my FRiend. Not only will he turn water into wine, but the resulting wine will run uphill should you have the misfortune to spill it. It will run uphill, back into the bottle, which all by itself will never run out of wine. He knows that’s what you want to hear! And that wine, even though it will cost more because of long-overdue and too-low taxes on producers; and will further consume a bigger portion of your income, since your taxes will rise, will get you more stoned. But think of how much happier you’ll be since the bottle will never run out of wine! You’ll be getting so much more for the price you spend on the wine, and how much better off will you be!

I can’t wait to sign up for BO’s plan when I lose my job so I can live off of the rich.

I wonder how many of Hollywood’s elite will be moving out of the country when they have to start paying higher taxes

There will be a small handing fee to the Regulatory Authority.

Sounds like the Climate Stewardship Act of 2003,where carbon taxes would be auctioned off to "reduce energy costs of consumers and assist disproportionately affected workers."

Do a search for Climate Stewarship Act of 2003 and see who the sponsors of that bill were. We're screwed either way.

This is what they mean when they say the nice sounding catch phrase ‘cap and trade’

They CAP the amount you can ‘pollute’ and you are allowed to TRADE your quota to another company, if you want.

Anthing above your cap and you PAY for your ‘pollution’

This is what the hullabaloo was about the other day when he said he would bankrupt coal electric plants.

Obamanomics.

You fine the rich in order to clean up their mess, then instead of cleaning up the mess, you use the money to share the wealth with those you deem eligible. Not everyone will be eligible. There’ll be background checks. If you voted for anyone other than a Democrat in the past 3 elections, you aren’t eligible. If you tithe to your church, you’re not eligible. If you give donations to charities, you’re not eligible. If you work more than 10 hours a week and make minimum wage, you’re not eligible. If both your parents were married before you were born, you’re not eligible.

The more people who are ineligible, the more money Obama and his Socialist Democrats keep to themselves. And because they don’t clean up the mess with the fines, they get to skim money off of the Federal Budget. The mess never gets cleaned up as long as Socialist Democrats are in the White House.

Obamanomics.
