Upstate SC very busy. I am voting this afternoon due to work but on the radio this morning people were calling in from the polls where they had been standing in line for some over an hour and a half. Most places seemed on average about one hour. A lot of callers were saying they had never seen lines like this and a few turned and left once they saw the lines. Hopefully they will return and try again. Standing in line even 3 or 4 hours will not turn me away from voting!

On a side note, I have been praying about this election for awhile now. I know God's Will will be done but I pray that God is merciful on this nation even though we don't deserve it for the most part. I just pray God gives us another chance at getting this right. I pray for John McCain but I also pray for Sarah Palin to be our leader at some point and use her values to turn this country around to a place God deems worthy of His grace and mercy.

Major snowstorm in my area of Utah.
Attention Colorado West Slope - you may want to vote early if this storm moves your way.
Just voted.
No lines.
1 for the white haired guy and Sarah Palin.

Not too bad a line in my ward in Boston, it took me about 20 minutes. I did an exit poll which was all about intimidation. I wasn’t intimidated mind you, the questions just dealt with how long it took you to vote, were the workers friendly and helpful, did you feel intimidated etc. Never asked whom I voted for.

I know it’s a lost cause in Massachusetts for Big Mac but the ballot question #1 is huge here - a vote to eliminate state income tax. I voted YES!!!! We’ll see what happens

Voted at 10:45am in Red precinct in Nassau County, Long Island, NY and was #295 voting. This size turnout at this time of day is huge and there were two other precincts in the room at Village Hall, all with a steady stream of voters. Had to wait about 15 minutes. Something is going on out there, people were serious, even determined. New York is obviously a Blue state, but I don’t think people care - they’re out in large numbers, it seems, because they want to have their say - regardless. This phenomenon (apparently nationwide) is what we need to see to stick it to the MSM.

I voted early in southern Illinois, was pretty typical group, a steady line. This is a conservative part of state, though many democrat local officials (go figure).

Then I went to teach my college class (freshman reading). Only two had registered and they said they were voting McCain.

Just PRAY

About 100 folks there - had to wait in line 20 minutes, usually there is no line. All voters over 40, mostly men.

Just got back from voting in Memphis a short while ago. The lines were VERY long. It took us a little less than 2 hours in line. Saw lots of neighbors there and passed the time talking to the elderly couple behind us and the sweet lady in front of us. They had a great sense of humor all we all voiced our support for McCain. I did see another neighbor that I think is a PUMA, can't wait till she gets back to go ask, lol. All went smooth with the exception of one machine being down. The only thing I saw that was odd is that all the McCain signs at the school were gone. Figured someone must have stolen them.

No parking spots available at 11:00 AM at my polling place in Bucks Co., PA. Unprecedented. I went to vote at 11:00 as I have today off (peak of the rut for deer hunting season here) but came out of the woods long enough to vote. Told my wife to come home early from work tonight to vote, as the lines tonight will be ridiculous. Now I’m heading back out into the trees with my trusty crossbow.....

No lines here in Lynchburg, VA. I took my niece to vote this morning for her first time. My wife doesn’t know if she can get to he polls though because her liberal co-workers called in sick today. She’s stuck at the hospital working.

We just voted in Shrewsbury MA. At 11:30 am, the line was out the door for both precincts that vote at the Public Works Dept. We had to create a parking place, close to the box recycling dumpster, because we had some corrugated boxes to dump. I've never seen that many people there, in the 20 years we've lived here! Thankfully, by the time we got to the door, we only had one person in front of us, and we were in and out in 5 minutes. Our precinct usually has a LARGE Republican turnout, which is great, but we're usually negated by the hereditary Democrat vote, here in MA.

I'm finishing my Novena today, for McCain & Palin.

Light turn out at our district in Burlington county NJ.
Polls opened at 0600, we were there at 0800 and were the 56th & 57th ballots cast. No line, no waiting.
Our district is about 50/50 R/D.

I live in a very blue area, one of the bluest in the country and there were lots of people out voting. I drove by lots of polling places. Interestingly, enough, I kept encountering a car that appeared to be an official Obama car driving around the polling places as well. I then went to my smaller town that went about 50/50 in the last Presidential election. There are only two stoplights and I was waiting at the busiest one while a woman with a big Obama sign was very aggressive towards the traffic. I didn't hear a single person honk at her as if in agreement. Most people were trying very hard to ignore her.
I do have a suggestion if you are as antsy as I am. Do a random act of kindness to someone who would not expect it...maybe to someone with family in the military...give flowers to a neighbor...stop by your church and say a prayer....even if it is only the parking lot.

I voted by absentee so I didn’t go to the polls but my neighbor just called me after she went and she said the lines were so long she couldn’t see the end of it. I asked her what the percentage of Caucasian and minority, she said overwhelming Caucasian.

She is somewhat unstable on her feet so her son talked to a poll worker and they brought out a machine for her to vote on and when she pushed the button to review her vote, the machine went berserk so her vote was never entered.

She told the poll worker she didn’t get a chance to vote and demanded she be taken inside to vote. They took her inside and she was allowed to finally vote.

The problem is, how many OTHER votes were on that machine. They called Columbia SC and they are sending down someone to investigate.

There was a reporter from Channel 2 Charleston here in Ladson SC and observed the whole thing. After she got back home she called the TV station and was told they were looking into it.

There was near pandemonium at that polling place because of the confusion and extremely high turnout.

I voted at the King (MLK) Co Elections office in Renton
on Saturday. They hold early voting for all comers from 9am to 3pm. Lines were around the building, mostly scruffy youts
and denizens of da hood. Most precincts near Seattle are
either leftish or communist; all are in the tank for the
obamination. Out in the sticks where I live, tables are turned.

Even if WA goes for “Hope” and “Change” as expected, theres still hope that we can get rid of Governess Fraudoire!

Wisconsin-—formerly rural area south of Madison turning suburban from outflow of Madison.

I usually vote around 10-11:00 am to avoid crowds. I was number 1617. In 2004 I was right at 1100. There is never a line at that time, this time there was—about 50 people. We don’t have anything big on the ballot outside of the presidential race.

The southern wards that vote at my polling place are slightly Republican overall , but it is very difficult to say how much of the increase is from increased turnout and how much from population growth.

Showing how no device is idiot proof, there was a roll of “I voted” stickers left on top of the ballot scanner for people to peel off stickers when they voted. Nobody tore off the backing paper so it dangled. It was fed into the scanner with a ballot and we had a voting machine breakdown! Many jokes by voters, problem soon remedied.

Turn out is unprecedented here in our normally red precint.

I stood in line with my two toddlers for 3 1/2 hours, many other moms were there. Not many “youth” at all. Most looked 25 or older. Black turn-out is defintitely something that worried. When I first arrived, most voters were black, but as the morning went on, whites started out numbering them. I think as the day goes on and people get off work, it will get even better.

Hmmm, what elese, there were many people wearing RED jackets and men in camoflauge!

Oh and I witnessed an Obama van dropping off black voters.

That is all I got :)

I just returned from working outside a polling location. This was a different one from my voting precinct. Again, very heavy, steady turnout. There were 3 precincts in this voting location. Waiting time was estimated at about 1 1/2 hours. Of course this isn't scientific, but I'd guess out of every 100 people, maybe 3 seemed to be Obama supporters. Very happy, energetic group. The excellent weather didn't hurt the mood in the long lines! I think Indiana is safe.
