To All PUMAs.
As a life-long conservative, I would just like to thank you all for your principled vote against Barack Obama. At this point in time, none of us knows what the day holds; but, even though I would never vote for her, I agree as do many Freepers, that Hillary was 'done wrong.'
We will likely fight you tooth and nail in 2012, regardless who our candidate is (hopefully Sarah); but, our hope is that if and when we win this election that this adminstration will show the world such respectable leadership that any thoughts of an Obama return will be but a distant memory. We look forward to taking on Hillary in 2012.
In the mean time, we ask that along with your vote you vote for a Republican congress. Some of our congress-critters even get on our nerves; but, they beat Reid-Pelosi. The new administration can not positively affect this nation if those two still retain their bully pulpits. So, help us send them down to minority status again, and then work with us to fix the economic woes and repair the divisive politics of the last 8 years.
We're not perfect. You're not perfect. But this year, we welcome you to the side of the right (even if it is just a smidge over center).
Now we are down to this.. Thanks to the PUMA's for their support, it shows me that deep down inside, we love our country too much to quibble when an issue of this magnitude is at stake. Your vote is appreciated.
Ohbummer was Selected not Elected. Hilary got the shaft by him and the DNC. He is a punk thug.
Pray for McCuda and Our Troops
****I still firmly believe this PUMA phenomenon is a fake. I think they have perpetrated a great fraud to give us (the conservatives) some confidence.*****
If you have not already done so, you really should read http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net
for enlightenment. There is no way to conjure up a group of stealth Obamabots and turn them into temporary clear thinking patriots as evidenced on this site.
The PUMAS’ motivation to vote McCain/Palin is authentic and inspirational - to stop Obama the socialist and put Country First.
Their support for Hillary and witness to her demise at the hands of the crooked DNC was both depressing and eye-opening. Their resolute stand against corruption in their Democratic Party is nothing short of heroic.
I salute them all.
GO PUMAS!
Not even 2012. If today goes as it should, come January we’re on opposite sides again. Just cast my vote for McCain/Palin!
I agree, it is fake and they take way too much credit.
It is the Christian vote that will make the difference, not the PUMAS.
I can hardly wait... ;-)
Thanks PUMAS!
Nicely said. PUMA’s and Freepers reaching across the aisle and putting country first. We can do it! Together.
A hearty amen, salute, and applause to all PUMA’s. While we may not agree on many social issues, I have to have respect for those who will put country over party. And that respect won’t end in 2012 either. Thank you PUMA’s!
The PUMAs are very real. I know 5, personally, in my immediate family.
Just how huge their numbers are is the question.
Nevertheless, we all should be deeply thankful for their efforts. Never in my life would I think we should see such an election as this.
But we all pulled together, as AMERICANS, to defeat the Evil.
We may differ on issues and how to go about solving them but I am so proud of my sisters from “across the aisle”.
In another 4 years we all may be at each others throats, but for one inspiring moment in time the PUMAs have united us more for a common cause than a zillion purty words from the mouth of That One.
Agreed. I can’t believe this PUMA worship, the only reason they are voting for McCain is because they felt it was HILLARY’s TURN. They don’t care about McCain or Palin, they want to HURT OBAMA.
Good enough for now, their hatred helps us. But don’t think for a minute we have any more in common with them then we did when Hillary was in the White House or running for the Senate.
Next election those Puma claws will be out for our necks.
Ditto...God bless the PUMAs when we win. Tomorrow, I might even send a small check to the Clinton Library and Massage Parlor.
Principled vote? They threw their party and maybe the election under the bus just so Hillary could get another shot at the oval office in 2012.
The PUMA’s are doing what they’ve always done, put everything second to their lust for power.
Sometimes I can’t believe how ignorant conservatives can be.
Thank you PUMAs.
We may disagree on many issues but we do agree on the love of this country. You have put country above party and for that I am grateful.
I truly hope you get your party back. Then we can have a reasonable discourse. I know you are not out to destroy this country like the radical left of your party.
Do whatever you can to weaken the Reid/Pelosi cabal. Vote the radicals out of Congress.
Pray today for our country!
Its NOT fake. I have seen them at work. And they probably worked harder this election for McCain then most republicans I know. They have earned my respect.
There may be some PUMAs out there but I am afraid the numbers are much smaller (maybe 80% smaller) than we think.
We have not seen any big shift to McCain from this group and I don’t buy the argument that the PUMAs were told to tell pollsters they were voting for Obama and then today actually vote for McCain.
Let me ask all you Puma lovers a question.
If McCain pulls it out today, when will the PUMA’s start plotting to destroy McCain ands Palin so Hillary has a chance in 2012?
Tomorrow.
Hear, hear! We are more grateful than you can possibly know!
I’ve tried to log in and post at HC.net, but haven’t been able to - PUMAs, please pass our thanks on to your sites as well.
God bless America!
She was shafted on the caucuses and she was shafted on the vice presidential position, later.
I would definitely prefer Hillary to Obama.
I can’t believe I’ve said that.
When I said that I was nearly blasted out of the thread! “you came here just to post that BS” or words to that effect, was the response I got.
I hope your opinions are more respected, otherwise we are like “them”.
I've got one in my family too. Never thought I would ever see her voting Republican, but she is and is proud of it.
