BTW, if we have truly reached the point in this country where the majority of voters are going to vote for whomever will give them the most “free” stuff we are over as a country. That is a critical mass in an uncontrolled reaction that will consume us.
Today might provide proof that we have reached the tipping point. I’m praying for a miracle ....also thinking about cashing out my puny 401(k) and taking the tax and penalty hit, because if Obama wins, that’s the most it will ever be worth.
If Obama were to win this thing (which he will not), I think we would see a rush for the Leftists to start paying for everything. This would be an economic and political disaster, as taxes would go through the roof and the economy (as opposed to just the stock market) would go into the toilet.
The US is unusual in that 50% of the people are voting for goodies, but 80% of the country is still in the productive class. It is that 30% of the people who are still productive and paying taxes, but who are also standing around with their hands out looking for gummint money, who must be persuaded.
Whacky Baracky is not going to be able to give away all his gummint goodies without taxing these people as well. Hopefully they will do the math and figure out that for every dollar they are paying in new taxes, they are only getting a nickle back in “free” stuff, and they will come around.
