Barack Obama: 'He's been sent by God' (Kool-Aid Drinking 0bama followers)
Telegraph UK ^

-snip-

On the pavement a group of young people – college students, they said, first-time voters, the kind of people that Obama has targeted – were gathering, armed with flyers to hand to the crowd. What, I wondered, did they see in Barack Obama? "He's passionate. Inspiring. Liberating," one girl said, then paused. "I would take a bullet for him.''

And what if Obama were not elected?

''I'd leave the country," another girl said. "We're in a world of s–––," a boy beside her added. "Actually, if Obama gets in, we'll still be in a world of s–––, but at least there'll be a chance of getting out of it."

I pushed my way towards the stage. Music had started, pumping up the adrenaline in the crowd – Ain't No Stopping Us Now, Hold On, I'm Comin' and Obama's anthem, Signed, Sealed, Delivered.

Nothing can match an American political rally in its razzmatazz, unabashed patriotism, fulsome displays of faith. And now the time was nigh. A woman mounted the stage to lead the congregation in prayers, beseeching God to "continue to guard this man who has been a paragon of hope", and to watch over "our troops, our police, our firefighters and hard-working Americans''. A veteran, bedecked in medals, recited the pledge of allegiance. A pretty girl sang the Star-Spangled Banner. A shiver of excitement coursed through the crowd. He had arrived. His wife Michelle came first. We were about to meet the man, she said, who had unified a party and unified a nation, "and done it with grace, poise, honour, dignity and respect – the next President of the United States, my husband Barack Obama''.

The chant came up from the crowd, rising to a crescendo. ''O-ba-ma, O-ba-ma, O-ba-ma."

"I would take a bullet for him.''

No you wouldn't. But it makes you feel cool to say such a stupid thing, so have fun.

His wife Michelle came first. We were about to meet the man, she said, who had unified a party and unified a nation,

He has? When did this happen?

Man, I LOATHE that phrase which his bots recite all the time.

This Obama guy reminds me of Thulsa Doom, leader of the snake cult in the first “Conan” movie. And his brainwashed followers could have been extras...

These people are amazing. When they get their way, it is unifying. When they don’t, it is divisive.

Nancy Pelosi even said that giving her a stronger majority would make Congress more “bipartisan”.

This is total Newspeak.

He’ll never unify this nation. It is my desire that no one on this site ever consider him anything but a POS. I certainly will not. I will do everything in my power to cause him to fail, to stymie him and his cultists, and to bring about as much chaos and ill feelings for him as the Satanists have done for Bush. We should criticize his every move and be loud and proud about it.

Literally, for the first time in my life (I'm 47) I'm scared - terrified - of a major party's candidate for POTUS

Many others feel exactly like you and understand this: FEAR is a much more powerful motivating emotion than GREED. Middle America is FEARFUL of this radical Marxist whereas his KoolAid drinkers are just GREEDY.

FEAR will trump GREED today at the ballot box!

I have been canvassing for McCain here in NH for several weeks and time and time again those I have polled/talked to have told me that they are "scared of Obama" "afraid" of him, "frightened", and "terrified" about what he wants to do to America. Every time they mentioned this their comments were unsolicited! There is genuine fear of Obamessiah/Obamusolinni in the heart of the electorate here in Southern (liberal) New Hampshire. This was BEFORE we learned that he wants to bankrupt the coal industry and cause everyone’s electric rates to "SKYROCKET"!

Many people also told me they have a very uncomfortable feeling about him because they do not really know who/what he is... too secretive and deceiving.

I am not wearing rose colored glasses; many here in NH have drunk the purple Obamessiah Socialist Kool Aid and (from personal experience I have learned) for those folks, no amount of truth about who Obama really is or what he says he really wants to do to America will change their minds. But for the rest of the electorate here it appears that they are VERY scared of him and VERY motivated to vote for McCain.

Do those who have drunk the Obamessiah Socialist Kool Aid, now make up the majority of the American electorate, or have we as a nation still maintained our God given roots and retained our sanity? We should know one way or another within 24 hours (someone call Jack Bauer).

Yeah, but at least Mr. Doom had DONE something! Someone please tell me anything Senator Obama has ever done? And Mr. Doom’s followers weren’t baristas at Starbucks and clerks at the Gap that still lived in Mom’s basement...

Perhaps he was sent by God. I still haven’t gotten that call back from God, telling me where He actually sent him though.

I’m thinking he made a wrong turn somewhere around Nairobi.

Wasn't that awesome? My eyes popped out of my head more than hers on a normal day when I heard that.

Hey, Chet 99--thanks for battling pessimism these past weeks.

Dumb little children that have no idea as to what they’re actually doing. Public schools fail again. Whether Junior or Missy know it or not, they’re Obama tools, some of his useful idiots and disposiable.

“Unified a nation?” There’s going to be tens of millions who voted for someone other than their false messiah.

The country will be unified, all right...after they genocide their political opponents.
