Joe the Plumber says McCain's chances slim
The Washington Times ^ | 11-3-08 | John McCaslin

Posted on 11/03/2008 11:25:31 PM PST by AmericanSphinx71

Even Joe the Plumber is writing McCain off. Say it ain't so, Joe.

Joe the Plumber conceded Monday night that Republican John McCain has a slim chance of defeating Democrat Barack Obama in the race for the White House.

Joe Wurzelbacher, the unemployed Ohio plumber who was thrust into the national spotlight in late September after quizzing Mr. Obama about his tax policy, made his prediction on the upcoming presidential election while be interviewed on Inside the Beltway Radio.

Just checked that thread and a lot of the comments have been removed. Looks like a busy day here at FR.

The sad truth is that there will be more division for this nation and it will really hurt the USA in the long run.

WHAT was that?

I want to know if they were FReepers or TROLLS.

The first five, or so posts were pulled. Seems like a TROLL ambush. Just long enough for a screen shot or two to show folks how “rotten” we FReepers are.

If not, then it’s *sswhoopin’ time in FReeperville!

I wonder if Jim has the real-time user activity thingy setup? Whereby one can view what someone is doing on your site...cursor movements and all. Could come in handy for trackin’ down the TROLLS, I would think.

This same crap was posted in 2004. The liberals lost their damn minds when GWB won claiming the fix is on as how can the polls be soooo wrong.

How indeed.

You guys are on the ball. I was just wondering the same thing about AmericanSphinx71; just signed up and seemingly full of negative thoughts. It could be an Obama seminar poster trolling negativity our way; but I guess it could also be a conservative lost in the wilderness for years who just discovered FR and who needs our help, strength and encouragement to get him through this election.

It is absolutely incredible, and infuriating, to see the lengths to which the Obamabots in and outside the media are beating the "McCain is toast" drums. Hey MSM, hold yer' horses there; we haven't voted yet. Aren't you guys the ones who were wanting to count every vote back in 2000? Let's see how your predictions and pronouncements sound tonight after all the votes are counted, 'K?

I suspect it’s the media speaking on his behalf.

That Malstrom article was very encouraging. I’m saying a prayer that it comes to pass.

The MSM is going all out to depress the Republican turnout.

After Florida 2000, anyone on either side who stays home due to what is reported by the media is a total moron. Just go and bleeping vote. How hard is that?

Inside the Beltway, Nov. 3 (Part 1)

“Your common sense, again, just to reiterate, is it’s going to be a tough one if John McCain’s going to pull it out tomorrow?” the show’s host, John McCaslin, asked Mr. Wurzelbacher.

“Most definitely,” he replied.

Earlier, the plumber stated: “Truthfully, honestly, I do believe John McCain can pull it out, but it’s going to be darn tight.”

Sean Malstrom’s analysis made more sense about the election than reams of Moronic Media talking points...I agree with him that McPalin will win with 3-10% pop vote and 300 EVs. NOBAMA

Joe Wurzelbacher, the unemployed Ohio plumber

Well, he wasn't unemployed before the media got ahold of him.

I don’t buy it...

I think a lot of small town America, small businesses, are all worried about what Obama as POTUS...

I think the public is a lot smarter than what the polls think and are so disgusted by the bias that they will come out in droves to vote. If there are long lines at the polls I believe it is because the conservatives are coming out in force.

He may feel that way because he is surrounded by the “working class” or “lower class” all day. I know what he’s feeling, and it is just astounding how much these people don’t think; they just emote.

I am actually a religious agnostic. While I might not believe their is a God (prove it to me), I value the importance of religion (though I believe the Catholic Church is going to hell for covering up the molestation problem) and believe it has a very important place in our society.
