I'm stunned. This is a Reaganesque landslide for McCain. Its wishful thinking.

Hmmm. That matches my polling data. Guess I got my demographics just about right.

It says they did that survey two years ago.
Exactly two years ago, SurveyUSA completed interviews with 600 voters in every state (30,000 total interviews), asking them how they would vote in a 2008 Presidential Election between John McCain and Barack Obama. Based on those interviews, SurveyUSA was able to report that:
In November 2006, Obama carried
1. His home state of Illinois.
2. His birth state of Hawaii.
3. The District of Columbia.
In November 2006, Obama got 28 total electoral votes.

Nice one. Unfortunately they have Obama up 3% in FL. Hard to believe. Rasmussen has us up one.

2006 head to head pairings? I'd love for it to happen tomorrow night but sadly - no.

Interesting. Check out the AOL Straw Poll results. They actually have McCain 51% to Bambu 48%... but then they only allow people to vote once per email address per week, in Chicago everyone votes twice and the dead three times /s
What is their basis for this map?
To: Unkosified
If that really happened he'd be Barack McGovern. Too bad. I'd take it - if it were true! :)

Umm, am I dense here? How could they have possibly done this in 2006? Neither party had nominees then.

It shows how much things can change during an actual campaign. In a sane country, Obama should be pounded like that. And to think he could actually win the Presidency? What has the world come to? I fear for my country.
