The Poll watchers are NOT supposed to interact with voters. Poll Watchers are not supposed to be identified with ANY markings WHATSOEVER. Not anywhere, even OUTSIDE the 100 foot barrier.
I am a pollwatcher and that is what our attorneys told us...
speak directly to the clerk and call our attorneys if the clerks don’t see it our way...
Your post reminded me of one I’ve read the past few days. They suggested if you vote where no ID is required take your driver’s license out and hold it in your hand while you’re standing in line. If there are folks there that are planning on voting fraudently, they may leave thinking that their ID will be checked.
Wow. We need to see if we can figure this out. I am in Broward co FL. While I did not get the best training, it was my understanding that the voter could ask for us or speak to us if they wanted to. However, we may not approach them. Same rules as the blue hats have (and be sure to report them if they approach voters)
And no we may not wear anything with “party” markings. So the Obama squad skirted that with the “voting rights attorney” blue ball caps.
And P.S. do you have the numbers to the attorneys? Our organization here is Broward is so bad that they have still not given me that info. All I have is the numbers to Victory offices and a hope that they will get to someone if I really need them.
Clear skies and sunshine is expected until call for recounts begin on Wednesday. Riots and looting expected Wednesday morning through Sunday. Riot vengeance index will be high for fair skin people, who are advised to stay indoors with ammunition and remove all McCain bumper stickers. By Monday the national guard should have us back to normal. Minor residual looting and mayhem for a few weeks while Obama chants... no justice, no peace.

Oh, for cripes sake. What is the point in showing a photo ID in the first place? to show that the person is who they say they are. And when the information on that ID is at odds with the information on file, what do the RATs propose Florida does, ignore the discrepancy??? Then WTF is the point of showing the ID in the first place? This should be laughed out of court. Better yet, the judge should find the plaintiff in contempt for wasting his or her time by filing a frivolous lawsuit in the first place. Finally, what is their standing???
Well, I have a question for you. I voted early in NC, paper ballots fill in the circle. When I took it to the machine to put it in the worker took my ballot from me and looked at it up and down then handed it back to me. I was rather amused as she didn’t tell me how to put it in the machine which really you would have to be a moron or I guess a floridan not to know how to do that, and I watched the counter change from 137 to 138 so I know I am counted. But why would she do that, I have never had an official do that before. I am 53 so it isn’t like I looked to young!!! and I have all my teeth so I don’t think I looked stupid...then again I am blonde. Anyway I didn’t say anything but should I report this?
It is really hard to say. I know where you are coming from. But what is it that you report? Your ballot did get cast and counted. I think that what you are telling me would be very hard to put into a complaint. Not that I doubt your account one little bit. I seriously would have wanted to have punched the lady. But I think we have to choose our battles very carefully this year.
Well, that ‘s why I didn’t say anything to her, she didn’t question me about anything. I just thought it was odd for her to do that.
I think voter intimidation means you are trying to prevent people from voting whenever they want, wherever they want, and as many times as they want (to achieve the desired results).
