Just reported.
Blessings. My mom died in 2002 and I still miss her so much, especially now near Thanksgiving time which was also her birthday. I think this is why some of the comments here are making my heart break so much.
This is not to say anything bad about Obama's grandmother's death. That is very sad.
However, there are people - narcissists - who love no one, not family, not their own children - no one but themselves. They can put on a good act, but they have no real empathy or feelings. It is like they are a blank slate, and they will write on it some emotion one day, and wipe it off the next. Obama is a narcissist for sure. He will feign some real emotion about Granny's death and be very believable, just as he is in other speeches. But, believe me, there is no truth to any deep love on his part. He uses people like toilet paper tossing them away when he is done with them.
I have seen a narcissist in action first-hand for years. I saw how he treated his family, siblings, and own wife and children. Outwardly he always professed to "love" them, but he made them slaves to his manipulative demands. They all, eventually, realized it and left him. He had no remorse at his parent's death...but he pretended to care at the funeral and distanced himself saying he just wanted to be alone. The truth was, he didn't have the ability to cover the fact that he had no real feelings. In the end, a day later, it was as if nothing happened and he went on with his life. When about a week after his mother passed I asked how he was feeling. He said, "about what?" and I said "your mother, have you dealt with that?" He told me there was nothing to deal with, we all die, and it didn't mean he should be upset! That is how a narcissist is.
How Obama came to be like that is because of his dysfunctional family history. It is truly a crazy life they led, and Obama's anger and audacity is the result of having to live through many conflicting situations, I am sure.
Granny is at peace. No one wishes anything but merciful blessings for her soul.
Rest in peace, Mrs. Dunham. Condolences to Senator Obama and his family.
Thanks to all the Freepers who HAVE shown class, dignity, and common decency on this thread. Politics aside, the man just lost his grandmother.
He visited her for more than just one hour.

So you justify yourself by compairing her to Stalin, Lenin, or Hitler?
What??? I don’t think anyone here is even remotely thinking about changing their vote just because Granny passed away. But I can express sympathy for the loss of a family member without it meaning anything else other than ‘I’m sorry for your loss’. No hidden meaning, nothing political.
Perhaps not Senator Obama and/or his family, but if you truly believe that no one associated with him reads FR you are yet a babe in the woods.
Somebody is having a field day with the Keywords!
“antichrist; assistedsuicide; cancer; dunham; euthanasia; johnnyfairplay; murder; obama; obamafamily; obituary; pulltheplug; terminalsedation;”
[... If she died in a hospice there wont be an autopsy...]
Didn’t know that.
So is not trying to justify crappy behavior with Hyperboli CaL
If the MSM goes overboard with this story, the sheeple will fall for it. But it will also be telling that McCain has been gaining ground and that the MSM is demonstrating its nervousness to parlay a sympathy wave for BO.
Prayers to the family.
Anonymous posturing is not the same as sending proper condolences!
I'll long wonder why Obama didn't take Michelle or the girls to see her two weeks ago.
Indeed.
This is a sober reminder that while we, as a Free Republic, get to choose for ourselves the government that we want, God will give us the government we deserve.
May Mrs. Dunham rest in peace.
May God have mercy on her soul.
May God have mercy on us all.
Pray for the country and vote Republican.
