Shortly after publishing my essay, "The audacity of deception" last Friday, I watched Barack Obama at a Florida rally, where he asserted: "[W]e want to do this, change our tax code (AKA "redistribute the wealth"). ... John McCain and, and Sarah Palin, uh, they, they call this socialistic. You know I, I, I don't know when, when, uh, when they decided they wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness." See the video
I have never been so moved to anger by any presidential campaign comment.
John McCain has made "a virtue out of selfishness"?
*John McCain could land his A-4E on a surging carrier deck at night, but Obama had the audacity to run campaign ads last month saying McCain was "out of touch because he could not use a computer."
**Obama's running mate is even more miserly. The Bidens' income averaged $260,000 over the last 10 years, but they averaged just $650 a year in charitable giving.
***I have consulted forensic linguists who have analyzed Obama's off-script campaign remarks, and they conclude that the surfeit of verbal non-fluency (stammering) in Obama's comments are consistent indicators of his intent to deceive.

Have to give credit where credit is due. The Obamachev campaign has been great in spreading Orwellian propaganda.
Change...change...change ....paying taxes is patriotic...Obama cultism... For the weak minded, the propaganda has been hard to resist.
Obama’s made a virtue of coveting and stealing.
Oh yes, I am so selfish that I provide jobs for all of my employees so that they can support their families. I am so selfish that I want to keep some of the profit that I earned. I have two words for Obama one starts with the letter F and the other starts with the letter Y.
I thought selfishness was Obama’s trademark.
Obomba has made a virtue out of the abortion issue.
Obama and his supporters have made a virtue out of parasitism.
But I thought liberals were against legislating morality.
Even if I accept their definition of “selfishness,” and even if I accept that “selfishness” is a bad thing (I don’t), how is it the government’s job to use its power to make me more “moral” by making decisions of conscience for me?
And don’t even get me started on whether or not it is “selfish” of Obama to hold on to his fat $4million book royalty check to the point where he can’t find a few bucks to send to his destitute half-brother in Africa, or his slum-living aunt in Boston? But he has no problem using the coercive power of government to dig into my pocket, and the pockets of so many other Americans, in order to fund his Utopian “Global Poverty” legislation that would send $845 to “cure poverty” (i.e. subsidize corruption) in Africa.
I remember McCain selfishly hogging all that punishment in North Vietnam.
Meanwhile, you gotta hand it to 0bama, selflessly offering up our money to support his illegal aunt and through his multi-billion dollar giveaway to the 3rd world, his mud-hut brother.
