“Early voting always favors Dems.”

Not true. In many states, Repubs have been more reliable EVers. More correct answer is “it depends”.

Whether the poll is good or bad for us depends on which states are covered. The main encouraging thing here is that O team was making EV pushes and it may have had limited success, and some other poll had O way ahead in EV, but it was very very skewed.

Take it as another sign that O’s schedule coronation is no sure thing. KEEP UP THE GOTV FOR GOP SENATE, HOUSE AND MCCAIN.

No, actually what’s good is that it’s by 1% nationwide, and CA, a lost cause for us, has had record turn-out in early voting, including the Bay Area, which is a concentration of ‘blue’ voters.

(Actually it’s kind of appropriate, the left tends to be depressive.)

Even better, if that’s the poll format. The typical Obama voter will be glad to boast of his self-perceived virtue, and say he voted for Obama. Not so with the typical McCain voter. I’d bet there are more McCain voters among the ``None of your d*** business’’ respondents than there are Obama voters.

I remember those 1980 polls and couldn’t figure out why anyone would want four more years of Carter. Sure enough they didn’t!

Thanks for posting that!

I really don’t understand these analyses. I don’t get how anyone knows who is voting for whom if they haven’t counted any votes yet. Can someone please explain.

These are exit polls. They call early voters and ask them how they voted, if they answer truthfully, and if they answer at all, an accurate picture of the voting can be painted. However, exit polls are noted for inaccuracy, 2004 is a good case in point where the exit polls all gave the edge to Kerry and the news media went crazy, until later in the day when the actual vote count told the truth. Exit polls are used, most times, to suppress voters and, IMO, should be outlawed.

While I think McCain will win I have no way of knowing if this is an accurate poll or not. I certainly don't trust the exit poll they had going yesterday which showed Bozo well in the lead. At least this one will not keep republicans home thinking they have lost.

To answer your question simply: No votes have been counted yet and, if they have, law prevents them from being released to the public.

It seems to make Republicans more eager to vote. Democrats are swayed by media chatter.

I had to wait over 30 minutes today at the GOP in Raleigh before I could even get a phone to make calls on. It was packed with enthusiatic supporters.

In light of the new civilian national security force, I hope those voting third party might reconsider their vote. A force equiped like the military against it’s own citizens! Please help stop Obama.

Fox - Obama up 1%..
Zogby - Obama up 16%
Hotline - Obama up 5%
Pew - Obama up 18%
Gallup - Obama up 10%

What can we conclude? Well I conclude that polling is a joke.

Same conclusion I have reached about polls. They suck.

Conclude that the pollsters and the media want the radical socialist BHO to win.
