the Obama-Biden ticket spells disaster for America's coal industry and the tens of thousands of Americans who work in it Not to mention the millions that benefit from the lower electrical bills provided by coal. Coal provides electrical power in 48 states.

Word can spread like a tsunami in a matter of hours in this day and age.
Too bad some of them have already voted.

Excellant article. Hope they can get the word out to the miners not just the owners and suppliers.

I just emailed Mr. Carey to voice my appreciation and support. You can, too, if you like at mcarey@ohiocoal.com. I am sure he would appreciate it.

I can’t help but wonder just how many of those coal workers will go ahead and vote for Zero anyway.

Where was the Ohio Coal Association, and other energy PACs, when Biden was caught on tape telling some libchick that they wouldn't allow even clean coal?
I spent a week in Northeastern Ohio right after that and a week in mid-October, and heard nor saw a word about it.
"Too Little, Too Late" and "We're Just Trying to Make It Look Like We're Trying Hard" are the two driving slogans of the McCain campaign.

it is one thing to make us pro environment but totally another to bankrupt all of these states and put so many of us in the dark with no nuclear plants or anything to pick up the speed. oh, guess thats what those national civilian forces or rather umm, reeducation camps that Obama wants are for. I hope it is enough to tip the scale. I really do.

Can anyone tell me whether the local TV news in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, etc., are picking up on this coal bankrupt and skyrocketing energy story? I know what the networks are (not) doing.

This would have done MAJOR damage if it was released about a week ago. It will still help, but we needed this last week...
