PLACES TO SHOOT - complete list of shooting ranges by state

The Washington, DC gun ban was overturned a few months ago. What was startling is that four justices ruled against the private right of handgun ownership.

Pray for the health of Antonin Scalia, Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy and Clarence Thomas. They are the five justices willing to defend all of the Amendments in the Constitution.

If you don't have a handgun, it might be the right time for a purchase. It might be the right time for a shotgun for home protection. Should the unthinkable happen on Tuesday, we can all figure out where this is heading. There will be challenges to the private ownership of guns, the manufacture of guns, and the manufacture of ammunition.

Keep in mind that Barack Obama favors that no minor, no matter how serious the crime, should be tried as an adult. Are you ready for the federal government to take over the state prison systems and release felons? The increasing crime and inability of citizens to defend themselves is just what Obama wants. He can then have his civilian national security force, answerable to him.

I pray that it is not necessary, but I have parked a website - http://www.theobamaresistance.com - that will go active if the unthinkable happens. Since I don't build or maintain websites, if people want to help, send me a FReepmail. Mrs. DFU worries that such website may someday get me arrested. Hey, that can't happen in America, right?

If you want to learn to shoot, this site has a drop down menu for each state.

Note: as a pescetarian, I have never hunted, but I would not try to limit your right to hunt. If animals are killed, however, I believe we have a moral obligation to do it as humanely as possible. What is being done to some of God's creatures is an abomination.

What Barack Obama would do to our Constitution is an obamanation. What Williams Ayers could not do with bombs, destroy this nation, he may be able to do with O-bomb-a.

Places to shoot in Wyoming:

Pretty much anywhere not in city limits. :-)

There is a lot of "public" (read: BLM) land here.

It is not just Obama who wants to curtail our 2A rights. Pelosi, Reid and the libs in congress want to do this as much, if not more than Obam. Many dems have said they’ve learned their lessons on gun control, but I doubt their views will trump the true libs who now control the dem party.

I would like to purchase a handgun and a rifle. Preferably ones that Obama and the Dems would like to ban. I’m willing to spend $2000 - $3000 in total on the two weapons. What do FReepers suggest?

AR15. And you might want to consider a Springfield Armory XD Tactical in 45 ACP, of course.

I’ve been looking for a range to shoot a weapon I purchased this weekend and to test a magazine I bought. There are none in my local area that are open on Monday.

Thanks for the link! Unless I drive quite a ways outta town, there are not too many places to shoot near where I live. Didn’t know a range had opened just last year within reasonable distnce.

This is why I went to a concealed weapons permit class on Saturday (and passed with flying colors). There were 15 of us there and when the instructor asked why we were there, all 15 said “Obama.” We were advised that if we have a gun, to stock up on all the ammunition, because that is going to get taxed first (probably at 500%). Am so glad I went.

For $2000 - $3000 you couldn’t go wrong with an AR-15 rifle (Rock River Arms or Bushmaster) and .45 handgun (1911, P01), using whatever is left over for ammo.
