My Jewish friend overwhelmingly support BO. I cannot get thru to them. It's like a "cone of silence" descends upon them when I tell them anything negative about "The One"...........They refuse to listen to anything..........
My wife and I use the gym at the Jewish Community Center in Memphis almost every day (their membership for a senior couple is a really good deal) and we have worn our McCain/Palin T-shirts there almost every time.
Both of us have received compliments on our attire from several members, so support for Obama, while evident, is far from universal. Most Israeli Jews know how dangerous Obama is for their interests, and some of that has penetrated into the American Jewish psyche. Not enough, but at least some.
I work in an industry heavily populated by Jewish family owned businesses. Mention anything Republican and they go rabid. They cannot see the antisemitism so prominently on display in the Democrat party.
It amazes me. I do know a few who are closet Republicans. They hide this fact from all but a few of their closest friends.
The "cone of silence" decends on many of my former friends too...this election is different; those former friends...I now consider socialists and enemies of freedom....so F____em...
My memory will be eternal. Class warfare, once delayed, has now begun.
