Sarah Palin on Sunday punched the liberal media yet again. And this time it looks like she connected.
Hopping on comments promoted by conservative blogs, Palin said the media are trying to hide Barack Obama's comments that his pollution proposal could bankrupt coal plants.

The germane part of the interview:
"So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted."

They've already pulled their first CYA statement and I just heard a radio interview where the editor is basically calling Palin a liar.
SF Chron claiming the audio was available the entire time. But notice, their reporter NEVER mentioned Obama's statement on bankrupting the coal industry or the huge economic impacts his policy would bring in the reports on the Obama interview.
Exactly the point the editor from the Kansas City Star is making. Serious CYA going on at the Chron.
And how can he reduce Carbon Emissions by 80% without adding any Nuclear Plants?
Answer, he can't, but he will ruin this country trying. His supporters are fools and idiots.

And that's the thing - I have absolutely no idea what the man actually stands for nor does anyone else. His proposals are literally impossible to implement as is and there's no sense of what he believes in other than nebulous promises of "change". And this is after two years of campaigning. As far as I can tell, people are voting for a pleasant face on TV and little else.
They start out with that “change” crap, meaning they are sick of President Bush. You will never get specifics,and when they throw out the tax cuts for 95% of everybody, you can eviscerate their arguments.
They no nothing about his plans to destroy the Military and our 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights. They never heard any of this and always accuse you making this stuff up. Add Infanticide and the Union Vote secret ballot being eliminated, and their heads explode.
They know nothing about this guy, yet they support him 100%.

I know a bunch of union guys, and this issue will connect big time with a lot of them, IMO.

You’re right, but hopefully that won’t deter the workers from a little common sense. (But the union thugs will try to convince them that their lobby will take care of this.)

I call him a pre-cursor to the real thing. It shows us all how easily people are deceived by charistma, charm, good looks, but NO SUBSTANCE. satan is certainly at work here. I truly fear what he will do if he’s elected. Good bye America, hello Amerika.
