A statewide poll of Florida voters for the Presidential General Election released today by Datamar Inc., shows that U.S. Senators Barack Obama and John McCain are in a tie.
These results correspone with three other recent polls in Florida. As measured by the polls, Florida is now a toss-up.
BUT ... the internals in the Datamar poll suggest that McCain may be as many as 6 points up. IF Republicans turnout this as they did in 2006 (which wasn't a very good year for us), then we will score a surprising (to some) victory, releative to these recent polls and certainly relative to the mid October polls.
Thank God for Joe the Plumber, for Sarah Palin, and for all the Joe's and Sarah's getting out the vote!!!
Great news, FL is a very important one for us.
This can’t be, Gallup said this is going to be a blowout.

I have noticed more McCain signs of late in Orlando. But Orlando went for Kerry in 04, so I wonder if McCain really has a chance here.
I HOPE it doesn’t come down to FLA again.
“I HOPE it doesnt come down to FLA again.”
Probably not.
This time, it “comes down to” Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Did Florida ever straighten out voting across the time zones, where, the media called the race in Florida before the western panhandle had finished voting?
