Obama is going to raise taxes on ALL income levels. Forget this $250K nonsense. Once Obama gets rid of the 2003 tax cuts which lowered the entire federal income tax rates, the federal income tax rates go back up to the higher tax rates of the year 2000. Low income, middle income, and high income taxpayers will have MORE taken from their paychecks and will have LESS take home pay per dollar earned.
What is this so difficult for the "experts" to understand? This $250K nonsense is just smoke & mirrors that the Obama campaign has you guys chasing around when the real issue is that Obama is going to raise taxes on ALL income levels once he gets rid of the 2003 tax cuts!

Avergae peoel cnat go to all the legal effort of moving “offhsore”- but anyone CAN pay off debt and then be able to live on less income. You then do NOT have to work so hard to accumulate taxable “wealth”.
Earn enough to provide ofr your own needs. Spend less. Consume less.
Many have or can find the option of “opting out” of the economic rat race if too much of the result of hard effort is taxed and given away.

I think the early n-O-bama/Dimocrat game plan will be to systematically bring all the “wealthy” down by implementing, while denying they are soing so, recession prolonging policies that rob productive Americans of wealth, health and spirit. Concurrently they will support the “less advantaged” with a series of means-tested stimulus checks of one sort or another. All while proclaiming they are repairing the damages wrought by the evil, capitalist Bush administration.
In a year or a few, the State will “save” everyone by simply declaring things are now on the road to recovery in a media-controlled ad blitz...and perhaps with another round of stimulus checks.

So in 2009 Obama is careful to tell you he will revoke the Bush tax cuts for people making a certain amount but he gives no indication that he will extend the 2010 Bush cuts as permanent to those making under a certain amount...

We are all screwed.
In the first full year after the Clintoon tax increases, my wife got a call from our friend, CPA, Tax accountant/advisor and sister church member.
She said that we were maxed out with our 401k’s, IRAs and had a mortgage, homeequity loan and of course property tax. We had no room to shelter our income. I was in the low 6 figure bracket and my wife, fortunately, was underpaid.
With the new Clintoon Taxes, our friend half jokingly suggested that we might be better off if my wife flew away for a quickie foriegn divorce. Let me keep the tax deductions and pay my wife’s small extra tax costs before the year closed.
Of course we didn’t do that, we had to hit the savings to pay the extra taxes. In Feb/Mar the next year I got a top sales bonus of $12,000. By the time the new Clintoon income taxes, SS taxes and no limit on medicare and Ca state taxes were deducted, I had less than $6k net.
After that the company and I worked out other legal ways to compensate a top performer.

I know I’m pre-approved. At the beginning of the Bush administration my wife and I made less than half what we make now...and we got a tax cut from GWB. So, even if Obama is telling the truth about only smacking the rich with a tax hike, we will get a tax hike when he lets the Bush tax cuts expire.
But then, the other day when the numbers $150,000 and 120,000 were bandied about, I hared a commentator mention that at 150K, two married teachers from a major city school system would get a tax hike.

If you make more then 10K a year your tax rate will be only at 20% (remember, it is for the COMMON GOOD), between 10-30K a year, you are lucky to pay only 30% - again, think about those less fortunate then you between 30 and 50K a rate of 47% - just think of the help you are doing, 50 to 100K a year -- just a small rate of 70% and you RICH people of 100K and Above (except LIBERALS in Hollywierd or LIBERALS Rich people like Warren Buffet- your tax will be lower.) and ABOVE 90%. Just think of the hurt you put on the little guys with your EVIL DOINGS!!
