The buzz in political-media circles Friday was that reporters from The Dallas Morning News and two other newspapers had been kicked off Barack Obama's campaign plane because the papers endorsed John McCain.
Not exactly. Our reporter, Todd J. Gillman, was told a few days ago that there's no space for him after today. We have protested, arguing that a paper of The News' size and stature should be on-board for the final stretch of a historic campaign.

Wow! This guy has thin skin!
The beginning of the end to Freedom of the Press in this nation.
This is how nazis work; get used to it. At least before the election, they waited until the plane was on the ground standing still before they threw the reporters off the plane.
If a Muslim posing as a Christian can kick people off planes, why can’t Christians kick Muslims off planes as well?
Yeah, just imagine the outcry if McCain kicked off ABCCBSNBCPBS and CNN from Air Force 1 on Jan. 21. Think there’d be an uproar?
It used to be that the threw his enemies under the bus. Now that he has a plan, he tosses them overboard.
Lets see. The Dallas Morning News is not national and gets kicked off but Jet magazine is invited in?
I detect the presence of a Cobammunist in this printed butt-smooch.
The other two newspapers were the New York Post and the Washington Times, I believe.
“PLANE” not plan
right on target
We see with this the Fairness Doctrine mentality in practice.
Imagine how differently this artcle would have been written if McCain were kicking reporters off his plane and obama were adding a second plane for reporters.
I think it’s funny that Obama takes a crap all over them and they still make excuses for him. Textbook masochism (and stupidity)...But then again, stupidity is nothing new to the Dallas Morning News.
I hope all the Paulistinians and the purist libertarian-conservative crowd will be proud of themselves if their lack of support and enthusiasm results in that Marxist radical becoming President.
And here’s a newsflash for those clowns, they’ll be among the first to be tossed off the plane, probably from 30,000 feet up.

Stockholm syndrome?
This is a shot across the bow warning the rest of the press what they will be in for. If Obama is elected he will start to shut them all down, one by one. There is an EO on the books allowing the President to take control of the press in an national emergency.
I think the press is swiftboating Obama. They made him and they can break him. It's now or never for them. They have backed this thin-skinned wanna-be dictator for the last year and now they realize just how abusive and power-mad he will be.
They will be the first to lose their jobs once they are no longer useful. This couldn't happen at a better time!
