RICHMOND, VA (NBC12) -Several celebrities will be on the campaign trail for Barack Obama today in Richmond.
Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of the late president John F. Kennedy, will hold a rally this afternoon at the VCU Commons.
The event gets underway at 3:45p.m. and is free.
Later tonight, hip hop artist "Jay-Z", along with mega-music mogul Russell Simmons, will headline a rally called, "Last Chance for Change".
That event is at Virginia Union University and is free to the public.
It begins at 6:15.

Caroline, don’t you love your late Uncle Bobby? The guy who wrote Obama’s life story adores your uncle’s murderer, and Obama does not denounce him. Au contraire — he praises him as a mainstream guy and respected professor.

Does she know how close Obama and Ayers were? Does she know Ayers held her uncle’s murderer up as a hero?
I would like to think she doesn’t, just because I don’t want to see Caroline Kennedy as such a niave little girl.
Of course, with a real, working, normal MSM, you’d think someone would have approached her with this and asked for her thoughts and in a real, normal world, she’d denounce both Ayers and Obama for his relationship with Ayers.

Caroline just happens to be a 50+ year old little girl? She knows exactly who Obama and Ayers are and it doesn't matter since the party comes before all else.
I’ve known plenty of women who have kept the mind of little girls.
I know, I know, she is a grown woman and should know. I guess I just always see her as a little girl. JFK’s little girl. Don’t like her family, don’t like her family’s politics and think they are the equivalent of modern day heroin millionaires. But just something about her and the tragedy of her life. Especially since losing her brother.
Shame the only one who was gearing toward the GOP was killed in an airplane crash.
