My friends, it's John McCain, live from New York, just three days before the election. Aides to the Republican presidential candidate said Friday that McCain will make a detour from battleground states to appear on "Saturday Night Live," the late-night show that has been a must-watch for many during the political season.
Hosting the show this Saturday is actor Ben Affleck, a supporter of Democratic candidate Barack Obama. The musical guest is singer David Cook.

I didn't know there was going to be a live thread either. I just logged-on and saw the ping from Miss Didi. The show turned out a lot better than I thought.
I have a feeling we might see "The Happy Grandpa" on Wednesday morning, LOL (I'm praying for that!)
From your lips to Gods ears. We need to get the bankrupting coal and not growing any food comments out to as many people as anyone knows in PA, Ohio, Iowa, etc.
I can’t remember the last time I got Friday, Saturday AND Sunday Jonny pings! :-)
I just saw those two little bits, but I’m glad it wasn’t horrible. LOL
I really hope we are happy on Wednesday morning. If not, I’m gonna loot Best Buy and get an X Box. (kidding!)
Here’s the link.
I think Obama’s Chicago machine is more evil than the Clinton’s.
Your talent is amazing.
I think you are right on in that assessment.
As for the pundits who came out against Palin, Kathleen Parker is a regular on Chris Matthews and wants to one. The same goes for Noonan, David Brooks and SOME of the rest, all trying to please and impress their liberal fellows on the TV political discussion programs and all of whom I and other Romney supporters have disparaged on these threads for their attacks on Sarah Palin. I never really cared for Parker (an obvious snob) or Brooks, and will never have the same regard and respect for Peggy Noonan. Furthermore, supposed conservative pundits who supported candidates in the primary other than Romney, like George Will, have also been critical of Governor Palin.
Unfortunately, it would seem some posters who did not support Romney, are more than happy to point the finger at people associated with Romney, and even Romney himself (very unfair as Governor Romney has been campaigning for McCain/Palin-appearing in Colorado today for instance- throughout the general and as well for other Republican campaigners), sad to say. Such attacks for which there is no hard or conclusive evidence, only serve to continue divisiveness stemming from the primary, which during the general is particularly unhealthy to the Republican party and McCain but most helpful the Democrats and Obama.
As I recall, you were a Thompson supporter, correct?
I think you’re absolutely right. They protected Ayers for a number of years before he turned himself in.
Please see reply #548! : )
one = remain one.
LMAO!!!
Spread the wealth and get one for me too ;-)
LMAO! Absolutely!
I am soooooo nervous about tomorrow! Praying like crazy!
My moods have been going up and down today, but mostly up.
I haven't watched ANY news channels in three or four days--that helps :)
It does help! The news is one of those things that you don’t realize how much it affects your mood until you remove it from your life.
I’m playing a lot of Everybody Wins bingo at Pogo.com to avoid the news.
I want to be positive, but all the poll news makes me very cautious.
I feel pretty good though. But tomorrow night is going to be a nail-biter for sure :o
