Link to Newspaper is:

http://www.thestranger.com

This is their "top story".

Some are posting comments under the article that this is a hate crime for what this newspaper has done.

Drudgereport.com is posting link right now, so this has "worldwide visibility"...

I did have a Dem door knocker come around, and I told him I was surprised he didn’t see my McCain/Palin sign...when he looked puzzled I pointed to Old Glory and told him to have a nice day, and shut the door.

I love that!

If you’re a Republican in this climate, and don’t own a gun (or several guns), you are clearly insane
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It is clearly time to move! Don’t wait around too long like too many of the Jews did in Germany.

Move to a red state.

Put a sign outside your home.

“My home address was posted by a news paper in a blatant attempt to get me killed.

Yes, I AM a republican and a very strong supporter of my 2nd amendment rights to keep and bear arms.

See you at the poles.”

Update...

Drudgereport.com does not have story anymore. In a sense, DrudgeReport is more damaging than some lunatics in Seattle...

Link to story at www.thestranger.com points to DrudgeReport... Freeper Narses points this out

TheStranger.com might have been hacked (and I would not be surprised if that was a Homeland "Training" exercise).

There should be a way to capture people who view the story, and who they are (on the Internet). That technology should exist...

TheStranger.com has pulled this story from their front page...

I just wonder who came knocking at the Editor's door...

Prayers or something worked...

This thread has about 3000+ views (I never get that many views)...

Matt Drudge has pulled his link to the article.

The Stranger.com website has pulled their "TOP STORY" as this, and their link points to the DRUDGEREPORT.com

I don't know if someone in the US Government urged Matt to pull his story, but the people in that lunatic newspaper, if they are drug users or do other very bad things, they may be visited soon -- blue state or no blue state.

The Obama Campaign does not want any negative publicity like this right now, nor the Democratic Party...

I just pray that those homeowners are okay...

Did they pull the article or did they get hacked...

The Front Page of the Newspaper has changed so that this is no longer the lead story...

Also, I cannot find this story on Matt's DrudgeReport.com

If they are going to be indicted for criminal activity, I imagine there are enough "caches" of the story on the web to find and keep...

I said:

Because of the number of hits on the Drudgereport.com, the fact Matt put this on his page gave it greater visibility than a LUNATIC newspaper. That is why it is damaging.

But Matt is trying to make a good point... It is just that people will actually see the photos and addresses because of that visibility.

The REALLY GOOD NEWS is that the original article points to the DrudgeReport and Matt has updated his page to delete this reference. The frontpage of THE STRANGER (lunatic newspaper) no longer carries the story.

Liberals love fascism and censorship and being thugs, just look at the previous socialist nations like the Nazi and Soviets; all liberal governments that murdered millions in demand that people conform to their way of thinking or else.

Hmmmm...

Just a short while ago I saw that disgusting story online at "The Stranger".

I wonder if my posting editor Dan Savage's photo, name and address online had anything to do with it being pulled?

He wanted to play, so we can play back.
He does not know who I am. I live overseas and always use a 3rd country proxy online. I can post from China if I want. I have tons of information on this guy besides just his address, email, phone, photo, etc. So do others as I did not want to publish his cellphone number but have already given it to another FReeper via FReepmail.

He was emailed a link to this article - more than one. I wonder if he liked what he read? I wonder how he liked seeing the picture of his home online posted by folks with a legitimate gripe. I wonder how cute Dan, Terry and DJ think this whole thing was now.

Since he has pulled that disgusting article, I will not publish any more of this creep's info.

This is just a foretaste of what the left will do - they feel very bold right now as they believe that they are on the cusp of some victorious change.

Wannabe jackbooted thugs.

Idiots.

Be careful what you wish for Dan.

Let’s publish the addresses of the employees of the paper.

I published the photograph, name and home address of the editor, Dan Savage on this thread, along with a photo of his home.

I also published the email addresses of much of his staff.

Since April 4, 2001, the paper’s editor-in-chief has been Dan Savage, in September 2007, Savage became the paper’s editorial director and was replaced as editor-in-chief by former Arts Editor Christopher Frizzelle.

David Schmader writes a second-rate column called Last Days.

Charles Mudede has written a regular weekly column “Police Beat.”

Contributing writers have included Sherman Alexie, Tao Lin, Travis Jeppesen, and Andrew Sullivan.

A. Birch Steen is a fictional character who “writes” for them.

Post #107 was a one time ping as a update to this thread...

Your update was sincerely appreciated; thank you very much.

The fact that they may have pulled the story is largely irrelevant at this point....it was up on the internet for HOURS, allowing any number of millions of hysterical, unhinged Leftists the world over more than ample opportunity to print out the entire screed and make any illegal, violent plans with it that they might want to.

Several posters to this thread have pointed out that The Stranger is merely a hysterical, Leftist, queer-oriented free rag here in Seattle and so is meaningless, but I would wish to politely take issue with that.

It is indeed a meaningless joke to sane, normal and healthy people but to the Seattle Left it's essential reading....much like The Village Voice is to Left-wing and homosexual New Yorkers.

I can easily see suitably psychopathic Leftists (and we have plenty of them here in Western Washington)  interpreting that article as a FATWA.

As is to be expected, our good friends over at NewsBusters are all over this....here's the latest including a 4:00PM update:

Seattle Paper Publishers Pictures and Addresses of Homes With McCain Signs NewsBusters.org

Seattle Paper Publishers Pictures and Addresses of Homes With McCain Signs

**Update** 4PM 11/01/08

Like Obama, the folks that run The Stranger "newspaper" in Seattle are all about tolerance... as long as you believe the same things they believe. If you don't, well, then you deserve intimidation and a good "outing." just as Obama has tried to intimidate radio talk show hosts, just like he has tried to use the office of the Attorney General to quash political free speech, The Stanger publication has decided that the best way to force citizens of Seattle to toe the far left political line is to have their homes photographed and their addresses made public for the outrageous crime of having a McCain/Palin sign on their property.

Editorial Director Dan Savage, another boring Seattle gay activist, has helmed this intimidation disguised as "humor" in order to attack his political opposition. Good thing ol' Danny is all "tolerant" and stuff, isn't it?

The feature was supposed to be a "funny" take on the Halloween "horrors" of homes that have political signs prominently displayed. But, what the end result actually relays is a different kind of horror. This article indulges in exactly the sort of behavior it pretends to despise. What is more intolerant than publicly ridiculing someone, ginning up hatred for them, and then publishing a photo and the address of their home? What is the purpose of this? Is it so that the more unhinged of your putative political compatriots can know just where to go to... what? Take revenge? Perhaps damage private property? Maybe worse?

The article starts off with this phrase: "Cobwebs and witches are for children and morons." I would counter to Dan Savage that political intimidation and endangering people because of their views is for Stalinists and Nazis.

Apparently Savage is not only this editor's last name, it is his creed.

**Update** 4PM 11/01/08

Looks like the wimps over at the gay centered "newspaper" The Stranger don't have the courage of their convictions, amusingly enough. They've pulled their story and re-directed the link to The Drudge homepage.

Apparently, the Stranger folks just can't take the scorn any more. They know what they did was indefensible and now they are pretending it never existed.

One thing is sure. If I had a dollar for every time the curse word f_ _k appeared in this "newspaper" I could comfortably retire after but a month of issues. Apparently literacy is a four letter word to these high-minded inteleckshuals.

If you'd like to read the text Hell Houses, the story from The Stranger, G'Willie over at GEOBENT took the time to reproduce it before the "newspaper" took it down.
