GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WZZM) Two people from West Michigan are facing felony charges after authorities say they forged multiple voter registration applications.

Robin Anderson and Patty Wallace are both facing multiple charges of felony forgery. The State Attorney General's Office says Anderson and Wallace both told Grand Rapids authorities they turned in fake voter applications to meet quotas set by their employer Community Voter's Project.

They face up to 14 years on each count but could face tougher penalties for being habitual offenders. Anderson was convicted of dealing drugs in 2006. Wallace was convicted in Florida of unemployment compensation fraud in 2005.

Good. Now let’s go after the “community activists” who are really responsible for this fraud.

My resident office moonbat thinks ACORN is just dandy; after all, they're the ones exposing the fact that the registrations are fake, so it's really unfair for the Republicans to blame them for the fraud. It's not their fault that they keep getting taken advantage of by the people they hire. It's useless to tell her that if the problem persists over dozens of ACORN's offices, just possibly they might be making some small contribution to it.

Michigan is in a pretty severe depression situation, and its going to get worse as the automakers are stilling sinking.

This couple apparently really needed the work in an area with few opportunities.

Considering the circumstances, I wouldn’t see any problem with leniency if they cooperate in busting up the election fraud ring and dropping the dime on the higher ups.

Blue states all.

The 2008 Community Voters Project, a large-scale, non-partisan voter registration effort, registered over 300,000 African American and Latino voters in ten states -- Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

The ACORN and similar voter fraud groups will sacrifice a few foot soldiers as a diversionary tactic, while huge numbers of the dead,insane,non-human,and non-citizen blocks “vote”.

I agree. The bosses of the ring need to be brought to justice.

Pardon me... I didn’t see their PARTY mentioned... I’m sure it was just a SLIGHT oversight on the part of the NEWS organization.
Couldn’t be that they’re DEMOCRATS, could it???

I’m sure that had they been Republicans, it would have been written into the title of the article among the other dozen times throughout.
