WATCH WHAT YOU SAY AT YOUR WORKPLACE.......

I spoke out about all the Obama rhetoric spouted by my co-workers, now I'm out of a job.

My heart goes out to you. I’ve been in almost the exact same situation

Thank you, that is very sweet of you to say. I would get an attorney in a heartbeat, but like I've said, I don't care about me, but the repercussions to my family could be an issue.

I look for Obama to be elected (God help us all), however, if a miracle happens and McCain is elected, expect rioting. My (former) co-workers have already stated many times that if Obama is not elected, that the election was stolen from them, "just like it was with Bush". Sad but true.....

Right now they are happy as contented cows because they cannot believe he could possibly lose. But, If O loses and riots break out, Nov 4 will be my last day. My life expectancy would drop to zero if I stayed there.

If Obama wins, the leftists will be emboldened to discriminate and you probably won't have a job for long, either. Maybe you can find work in a medium sized city in one of the red states? Most large cities even in red states are blue enclaves, and just about any large city has problems to one degree or another. In a medium sized city, there are I.T. jobs that don't pay as well as in a large city but the cost of living is likely to be less. There is no future in a large, dying city unless you are politically connected/protected somehow.

I’m sorry.

I don’t intend to excuse those who corrupt and control.

I was merely (attempting) to say the rules do seem in practice - at least in my own limited experience, to apply to some degree to both sides.

If a conservative or libertarian is in a position of any authority, simply making a point of saying a couple times when (any) potentially controversial subject is raised, that you refuse to comment on anything potentially controversial — does in fact create a workplace in which others also refrain from doing so.

Maybe I’m over-generalizing.

I’m sorry if I offended you in some way.

How much did the O-scope weigh? I mean really, if your ididot culde’nt lift a 10 to 25 lb. Osilliscope you have to ask “are you physically impaired?”

I’d give my left you know what for a digital high freq low tol high impedance top of the line O - scope.

AND IF IT WEIGHED 150 POUNDS, I’D LIFT WITH THE LEGGS.

I’m just sayin, if you happen to have something like that lying around, I’ll take it off your hands. Free of charge. Problem soved. Ha ha..

I only recently, like in the last 3 years, learned to stay on the offensive in that same way eyedigress described—once you know how the game is played, you realize that you basically can (and have to) terrorize the liberals with their own rules in order to get them to be as docile and scared of you as they try to make you of them. But it really takes guts and work.

I went as far as typing up 5 pages of specific instances of unacceptable conduct by one abusive supervisor, who suddenly began sheepishly repenting after I threatened legal action. Another time, I typed up a complaint of criminal harassment against a black coworker who tried to verbally and physically intimidate me, and the panicked management was barely able to convince me to hold off making the call to higher authorities...I went to another shift, and a few weeks later the other guy was fired for misconduct.

It can be a grim and gut-wrenching existence, but once you really take them on and see them shrink back suddenly in fear, the sense of true justice and of your own righteous strength can be exhilarating. You realize how craven and weak and pathetically unjust they are, and they realize it too! Other people begin to rally to your side, or at least give you a wide berth.

Once you decide to stand your ground and fight, strange forces come to your aid, I swear.

Not everyone can pull off being as assertive and even aggressive as it sometimes takes to fight the commies in the workplace on their own terms, but once you start really levelling the boom about “harassment” and “hostile work environment(those 3 magic words)”, really compiling your notes and written complaints with detailed situations, dates, times, etc., the libs act like shocked, apologetic, cooperative, and respectful penitents. Perhaps not at once, and not at all times, but in general they get the message that you aren’t a victim and they think twice about messing with you.

It’s dangerous to undertake, but sometimes the alternative is just an endless cycle of humiliation and grovelling and loss. Sometimes the best course is just to walk away, or to grin and bear a bad situation with grace, etc....but it’s also great to know that when you know you are right, you can marshal and wield formidable hoodoo against scumbags, and win.

Perhaps if you had spoken up sooner, you might have chilled some of that rhetoric. "You wish you hadn't spoken up?"

Darlin' it would have made no difference. They were probably aware of your not dancing the dance, anyway. Where I work, people know I'm a Republican, and I am surrounded by Democrats. I didn't want to be prevocative, and I kept that strong in another's sphere. "Didn't want to get Keyed."

Well, in broad daylight, I was keyed ANYWAY.

I realized my mistake, almost too late. The Brown-Shirts, well, Michelle Obama has already said it. You won't be able to sit it out, Obamaism will not let you isolate yourself, but HE calls you out of your isolation.

Don't be discouraged. Picket the joint.

I’m going to be blunt here:

You were a dumb ass to voluntarily tender your resignation.

Make them fire you, dammit!

You’ve just made the job of their attorney much MUCH easier if you pursue any sort of legal remedy.

Do everyone a favor and name your employer. You have nothing to lose whatsoever.

Who was it?

He had the gall to say in court he was in better shape than everyone he worked with. (Being the dumbass lib) he was then asked why nobody else had a problem doing the same job. Case tossed, It was later revealed his GF threw dumbell weights at him in a domestic dispute and hurt his back. Libs will lie about everything

I see your employer was ‘Dish Network’.

I suggest sending this sad story to Drudge, he loves that sort of stuff.

No offense taken, and I agree with your comments. It’s how things work today in most places.

I hope you don’t expect things to continue in that manner after Obama is elected (if he is elected). His team has already demonstrated during the campaign that they have a low tolerance for opposition and will go to extraordinary, thuggish measures to squelch it. Once he gets in power and has the legislature and courts behind him, there will be no stopping him. Inappropriate, unimaginable uses of force will become commonplace until everyone is afraid to ever speak a negative thought about him, even behind closed doors.

This used to be America, land of the free, home of the brave. Now more than half of the population thinks big brother is needed to fix things and that our country is totally messed up. They will grant him whatever power he says he needs. He will have storm troopers, rounding up the dissidents (that’s you and me). The majority will approve. His economic policies won’t work, but he will say it’s because of us. That’s why we have to be eliminated.

Thank God I live in Texas. Down here, we tell them to shut their pie hole and if they don’t, we beat the sh!t out of them. If they still mumble stuff, we kill their dog. Eventually, they go back up north.

God bless you sir for your sacrifice.....

I'm not a Sir, I'm a woman...

Get the hell out of whatever hell you got yourself into.

I did, although I thought it was a great opportunity when I got hired. I had no idea how this company operated at the time.

I am very sorry for what happened to you. Get a lawyer and hit them as hard as you can.
The bastards deserve to be sued, and have their name connected to a lawsuit in the public records.
