For those of us who have protested outside MSM buildings before, it was the typical response from the LA Times: "Protest? What protest?" They don't have the time of day to report about or talk to people marching around with signs outside their huge building. They are JOURNALISTS, after all, too busy working on the Obama campaign to bother with reporting the news.
As you know, the LA Times is hiding a video of Obama at a party with Rashid Khalidi and other anti-Israel terrorist sympathizers who apparently made some touching comments and speeches about the apartheid terrorist illegal state of Israel over the course of the evening. WHY ARE THEY HIDING THE TAPE? They claim they made a super secret double pinky swear promise to the source of the tape that they wouldn't EVER show it. But they had no problem blasting comments Arnold made at a closed meeting that didn't put him in the sweetest light before his election. We know they are LIARS and are protecting Obama. From what? Obama is probably sitting at this gathering, clapping and smiling and nodding approvingly when his friend Khalidi screeches about Jews being the real terrorists. Oh, that's NOT what's on the tape? Then SHOW IT!
As a caller on Hugh Hewitt's show suggested yesterday, Senator JOE LIEBERMAN needs to hold a press conference and demand that the LA TIMES release the video, in the interest of journalistic integrity. They WON'T release the video, but at least Joe will have drawn attention to the issue of who and what Obama allies himself with. Come on, Joe, do it now!
Thank you RonDog, for all your efforts! Also Jessamine and other freepers who showed up. There were about 50 people there at 10am. That's quite a turn out on a workday. Also, thanks to everyone from other countries who showed up and feel strongly about getting McCain elected.
I’m sorry I forgot to put something about photos in the title, RonDog.
Im sorry I forgot to put something about photos in the title, RonDog.LOL!
That's O.K., you did put "ILLUSTRATED."
I asked the mod to add that after I read your post. ;)
You guys are awesome!
Also Jessamine and other freepers who showed up.Check out Jessamine being interviewed in THIS video, now posted on YouTube by Jay Firestone, with jewishjournal here:
L.A. Times Protest - Obama/Rashid Khalidi tape
Nicely done. Did you come back for the PUMA protest at 3pm? Did Ben Shapiro come back? I forgot to take a picture of Ben.
I’m sure a fun time was had by all.
However, the following plan - posted here last night and then apparently left to rot - would actually be much more effective:
http://24ahead.com/blog/archives/008264.html
Senator Lieberman needs to sic the IRS on the L.A. Times as being an arm of the Obama campaign and subject to campaign contribution limitations. They’ve provided him immeasurable financial benefit and can not be allowed to hide behind the First Amendment after behaving this way.
Audit them! Fine them! Shut them down!
It’s not likely that Obama will be coming to CA before the election, but by all means, people who have the chance to ask him a question in person should do so.
LA - we love it! Great FReep, everyone. This reminds me of when NBC was holding the Broaddrick interview until after the Senate impeachment vote. I believe the New Yorkers were in front of the NBC building but they only had a few people. We’ve come a long way, baby!
Thanks, Cinammon Girl. Those pictures look great!
Woo Hoo!
No tape , No peace.
Awesome FReep yesterday.
RD
I don’t think anyone really believes the LA Times will release the tape before the election, but if Joe makes a press conference about it, at least the question will be raised “what they heck are they hiding?”
ping for pics later
wonderful photos and Freep, thanks to RonDog and Cinnamon Girl and everyone involved!!!!
