Update: Fox news is reporting that Obama's pollster is confirming the results discussed here. In a memo sent to the Florida ground operation, he confirms that the polls are tightening up and that GOTV operations are critical and in need of resources in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Virginia. He says that resources are less of a problem in Pennsylvania. When contacted by Fox, he confirmed the McCain release, "McCain is right".

I keep hearing about his “amazing organization” in PA.

However, I seem to also keep hearing about busing in voters from out of state and registering without ID. Wonder if there's a connection? /s

Barack Obama, D-Ill., was recognized as the most liberal senator in the U.S. Senate in 2007 according to National Journal’s 27th annual vote ratings. ( http://nj.nationaljournal.com/voteratings/ )

• Illinois SB 230 (1997) — Voted to allow partial birth abortion

• Illinois SB 381 (1997) – Voted no to require prisoners to pay court costs for frivolous lawsuits filed against the State

• Illinois SB 485 (1999) – Voted yes to give an offer of “good time” for sex offenders sentenced to the county jail. Obama’s was the only vote in favor of giving “good time.”

• Illinois HB 1812 (1999) – Voted no to require school boards to install software to block sexually explicit material on public computers accessible to minors

• Illinois HB 4659 (2000) – Voted “present” on bill to establish a zero tolerance drug testing policy for Department of Corrections employees

• Illinois HB 709 (2000) – Voted yes to allow state funding of abortion and induced miscarriages

• Illinois SB 609 (2001) – Refused to vote to restrict the location of buildings with “adult” uses, i.e., porn stores, strip clubs, within 1,000 feet of any public or private elementary or secondary school, public park, place of worship, preschool, daycare facility, mobile park or residential area

• Illinois SB 1661 (2002) — Voted no to protecting newborns as a part of the Born Alive Infant Protection Package. Obama deems it proper to deny all care to a child who is born alive during abortion process.

• Illinois SB 1415 (2003) – Voted yes to create public funding for Supreme Court races in Illinois

• Illinois SB 880 (2003) – Voted yes to allow the purchase of ten hypodermic needles from a pharmacy without a prescription

I’ve said as much to my son. He just argues that McCain hasn’t got a chance because Obama is so far ahead in electoral votes.

GOP has a better ground game in FL by far and in PA with the help of the PUMAs, Clintons for McCain, and Democrats for McCain who are going into PA this weekend from NY to help McCain/Palin.

We have more offices in FL and up to date phone banks then we did in 2004. GOTV is huge in CO with people being in the state from other states. Dems never have had as good of game as GOTV of the GOP.

Electoral votes are not real until the votes are counted, does he actually know that?

Woohoo. Sounding good.

After just listening to the “terrible” situation inside the mccain camp from BOR and Laura Ingraham I was getting worried.

Good grief. What is with those 2 trashing the campaign at this point in the race???

The U.S.S. McCain/Palin has stolen the pirate ship Nobama/Bidin's wind from their sails and is now preparing to come about for a full broadsides from all batteries!!!

Deck guns are to be loaded with grape shot and all guns below decks are to be aimed at the water line!!!

Prepare the boarding party!!!!

While the drive-by pollsters continue to hug their life preserver models showing an Obama win, the icebergs of early voting called CO, NV, CA, and FL are actually pointing to something I didn't really think possible: a BIG McCain win.

Still early (see the FL thread, which has Obama with a mere 7.5% early vote lead---at a time when Kerry led by 16% and still managed to lose by 5%!!), but this could translate into more than a narrow McCain victory.

God, then there will be no living with the guy. "My friends . . . .and you are, my friends . . . ."

Sorry - but I can’t stand this Early Voting stuff. This is nothing more than a ruse pushed heavily by the Left so that they can get an idea of how many busloads of Illinois voters they gotta ship somewhere to counter their deficits. It’s made to order for fraud by virtue of giving them a month-long running tally of what they need to do, which is why the Left endorses it so heavily. The Supremes need to outlaw Early Voting as unconstitutional, in my humble (and admitedly unlearned) opinion.

All I know is here in Central VA in Chesterfield I’ve never seen as much interest not in 2000 or 2004. We can not keep signs and people are SCARED. It is the first thing out of their mouth when I talk to them. One guy argued with his buddy who was a weak supporter so he would put a sign in his yard.
I may just be just seeing what I want to see but I will not be surprised when McCain wins the Presidency.

The MSM media has already projected Obama the winner with 538 electoral votes to 0. Of course, it will be a very enjoyable evening as the “pull back” these projections one by one (A la gore 2000).
