Just heard on the KABC Larry Elder show that the Campaign Money Watch group purchased a $400,000 Ad critisizing John McCain concerning excessive money used for his political campaign!
I searched their site and found plenty of statements against McCain for various "Reason" but not on this yet.
They have a special blog for McCain here:

Is this because he took federal matching funds?
I think it refers to lobbyists raising money for him...

Are you familiar with any of this since you have been watching campaign donations?
Campaign Money Watch is a well known liberal advocacy group
that tries to disguise itself as non-partisan.
Their rational is that Obama supports public financing
of campaigns and McCain doesn’t.
This is of course B.S.
McCain kept his word to take public financing, while Emperor Zero pulled a Kerry so he could have daddy war bucks soros, and all his little America hating muzzie friends illegally pay for his campaign.
Does this have anything to do with the Federal Match Funds?
I don’t think you understand.
This outfit is not really a group pushing to get the money
and special interest out of elections as they claim to be.
You have been to their website, it resembles the huffingtonpost or Daily Kos.
They are a Barak Obama advocacy group.
When asked why they would advertise against McCain when he is the one using public financing and not Obama who is not using public financing they said “well uh Obama is more likely to vote for campaign finance restrictions”
This statement lacks credibility, to say the least.
That wasn’t my question. If you receive federal matching funds, does it limit or control spending?
Oh sorry. Yes, when you recieve matching funds in the primaries, the Feds finance your entire general election
campaign and you are limited to spending that amount. In this case I think it is 84 million.
The RNC is not limited in spending.
So McCain went over the allotted amount? That is what this ad is about?
I haven't seen the add Larry is refering to yet.
Thanks!
