Baghdad wants to delete any reference in the draft security pact with Washington to the possibility of US troops staying in Iraq after 2011, an MP close to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki told AFP on Thursday.

The demand is one of five amendments proposed by Iraq, said Ali al-Adib, a Dawa party member of parliament.

"The Iraqi government wants to remove from the agreement any mention of a possible extension of the American presence in Iraq," he said.

The draft pact says US forces will withdraw from towns and neighbourhoods by the end of June next year and from the whole country by 2011.

Its way , WAY past time to encourage the Sunnis to take control of the Iraqi government. The Shia are bound to place Iraq into the Iranian sphere of Influence. Then they will go to work on Saudi. And after Saudi, ALL of Africa. Thats the plan. Just ask Obama , he is in on it, along with Kenya's Odinga thinga.

(How are ya forks?)

Not to late. Who got rid of Al Qaida? The Sons of Iraq. The daughters of Iraq. Both organizations sacrificed blood to do it, by the bucketful. True Patriots for Iraq. They are new. They should be running the government in Iraq.

Now that we have built the largest US Embassy in the world in Baghdad? You have to be kidding. Are you saying that all that money was spent in error thinking they would be our friends after we gave them their own flavor of democracy?

I agree. Mission is truly accomplished. Let’s go home. Barak Obama really has nothing to run on anymore. This would be the surprises of all October surprises.

We won't leave for a long time.

" Hi GI! Me love you long time!"

And that is a very good thing, as it was for Japan and for Germany.
