Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Joe Biden will be back in his home state Friday to campaign for the Democratic ticket.

He is scheduled to address a public rally at 10:30 a.m. outside Memorial Hall at his alma mater, the University of Delaware. Biden graduated from the university in 1965.

A release from the Obama campaign says Biden will talk about restoring economic security and focus on how his Delaware upbringing shaped him as a fighter for the middle-class.

The rally will come one day after a Biden swing through nearby Pennsylvania. He is scheduled to make appearances in Williamsport and Allentown on Thursday.

If McCain held a rally in Arizona:

McCain scrambles back to AZ to shore up crumbling support in his home state.

Probably that’s the state where “THE ONE” has determined he could do the least damage.

we need to email our “regulars” and tell them:
“We’d win a lot more of the 40% that “don’t pay taxes but would get a check’ if we said: “they’re going to need that check because, under ‘bama’s plan, their jobs will be the first to go when small businesses have to start cutting back.”

Right now, all they hear is that they will “get a check” = that encourages them to vote for ‘bama.

WAKE UP! Remind them that it’s Small Business that have provided 100% of the jobs in the past few years.

If they get punished with higher taxes, they will have to lay off and not hire. That means the famous “40%” will be the first to see their jobs disappear. A small check won’t make up for no paycheck.

In addition, for those who DO manage to keep their jobs, the chance to advance and make more money over the years will shrink as less jobs means they tread water at the level they’re at now.

So, do they want a job security and the opportunity to advance or a frozen job to no job in exchange for ‘a small check’?”

Right now, our mantra is “40% will get a CHECK!” That’s a great incentive for most of them to vote for ‘bama. DUH!

Remember the formula of the networks: The office people that screen the emails only pass them on when they get X-amount on a given subject.

Be sure to add your name and town and email - or they won’t read them.

IMPORTANT when emailing. they won’t read mass emails - SO,

put just one email add in the “to” line then click on BBC at the end of that line. a BCC line will open just above subject line. copy paste the rest of the addresses in there and each recipient will see ONLY their name - and in the subject line make reference to “about that 40%” or something that includes the 40%

My guess is that this is NOT an indication that Delaware is in play ... it is an indication that the Obama Campaign doesn’t want Biden anywhere near a state that IS in play.

You don’t send your VP candidate to a supposed safe state, days before an election, to do business. You dont leave anything to chance when you have states on opposite sides of the country you want to cover.

The Wilmington vote is too overwhelming to override the more conservative parts southern Delaware. We drove to my wife's family's beach house in Dewey Beach this last weekend- looking only at that part of the state, you'd think that Delaware was going to go GOP, based on the ratio of lawn signs. But, like in previous elections, the Wilmington vote will carry the day for the Dems.

That's good news. Don't see a lot of bumper stickers for Obama around here (I counted ONE). Of course Wilmington's new Bishop Malooly chastisting Biden in the newspaper, along with his straight-talk to Catholics about abortion being a sin and YOU will be judged for it may be making voters think twice before they press that button to choose death over life. God bless Bishop Malooly!

Below the canal, it's pretty conservative. We like our blue jeans, Bibles and guns down here.

Pray for Delaware.
