Video here. Feel the edge of electric excitement as you get to stand in the shoes of good Pennsylvania people welcoming political phenomenon Sarah Palin.
Fine. You must know that Old Goldwater became dominated by his last and very liberal wife. He forsake almost all that he claimed to stand for. He even came to the side of Gay rights and such.
You would not have recognized him as a conservative...
Now now, lieutenant columbo is very supportive of what you call “Gay rights”.

Hmm. What might comprise the list of gay rights? What rights are they attempting to claim above and beyond the non gays?
Two key ‘rights’ appear to be marriage and adoption.

Do these address the rights of the children? Or do they only appeal to the privileges of the adults?
They appear to be about the adults and their private wants, not the children or the broader public good of adoption.
Hey newbie, perhaps you should go back to DUmmieland.

bttt
I’ll be so glad when the election is over and these trolls go away.
Indeed.
Wow, a thread like the old days. In some days I’ll have time to join the - fun.
Regarding calling homosexuals “gay” or “queer” or anything else, here’s my POV.
1. I used to call them (here on FR) “sodomites” since that is merely a descriptive term describing their chosen behavior. Then I stopped because some people percieve it to be an insult.
2. I adamntly refuse to ever call them “gay” since “gay” is a good English word that means carefree, joyful and happy, which homosexuals are NOT. They have stolen a good word and turned it inside out. It is a propaganda word.
3. I reluctantly use the word “homosexual”, since that is a sort of technical neutral word, although in “The Pink Swastika” the history of the word is described. It was invented by a homosexual in Germany in the late 19th century; he wanted a “special” word for men who were attracted and had sex with other men and particularly teenage/adolescent boys - SOP - to give a sense of special community, rather than a group of people who happen to practice sinful and criminal perversion.
4. I’ve lived in San Francisco. They call each other “queer” all the time.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! When it does happen, it is nothing short of child abuse. And govt sanctioned child abuse at that.
I for one, and I know I am in good company, support John McCain, BECUSE of Sarah Palin. Would I have voted for him if she hadn't been his pick? Yes because I do not believe we have a choice this time around. And I would have in order to “live to fight another day”. He only got my support after nominated this noble and patriotic woman who has impeccable character!
Nothing went “wrong”. But something did go “right” as in correct. Palin is the best thing to happen to the GOP since Reagan. Actually she reminds me of Thatcher, and most of us loved her. She and McCain, will not be losing on Tuesday.
Thanks Much. Your words are kind and mean a lot to me. Maybe God has answered some of those prayers for HIS WISDOM to cohabitate with me.
Whatever wisdom leaks out is from Holy Spirit investing HIS WISDOM in the substantial cracks in my understanding about much of anything.
My wisdom would have a hard time balancing a gnat’s burp on any scales.
I greatly appreciate your kind affirmation, however.
May God abundantly bless you and those you love with wholeness, health, provision, safety, His Peace, His Love, His comfort, His guidance . . . HIS SALVATION.
Interesting.
I thought that these folks in question were in lockstep with you in terms of naming or appellation or thought.
It does not seem that their posts anywhere near align with yours. Would you be able to offer up an explanation?
***Quix you are a very wise person. May God Bless you!***
Be very careful before you cast such labels, right Quix? :)
