I was in Philadelphia when they won in 1980. It was wild. I heard gunfire or firecrackers and car horns and fire or police sirens all over the city.

I was living in the Bronx when the Yankees won for the first time in over a decade. The morons were actually shooting their Ravens in the air right on the Grand Concourse near Fordham Road (a MAJOR intersection in said borough).

I’m not a big baseball fan, but I’m glad they won.
Wasn’t Carter still president in the fall of 1980?

Charlie hung in there even though the loser liberal clowns on the sports station ripped him for years. His mom must be smiling.

I've never seen such a reaction to a Sixers loss.

I guess Opama and Piden don't countNow that you mention it didn't the Rays, the losing team, spend a few nights in Wilmington, DE before finishing the game last night? Might be a sign...
