Jack WELCH, former CEO of GE said on Kudlow that 'I don't know how any businessman could (come out or vote?) for Obama.
Welch explained that Rhode Island has an 8% unemployment rate, and that's 40% higher than the 6% in the rest of country. Welch said that McCAin needs to hit that, because the reason for that 8% in R.I. is directly from the higher taxes in that state, which is highest taxed businesses in U. S.
Jack Welch also condemned the Obama support for "no secret votes on Unions", which Welch said should never happen.

Another spawn besides Nardelli was Larry Johnson - he deep sixed Albertsons in no time at all.
And speaking of overrated... why is Carly Fiorino on the McCain team? She's another one - nearly killed off HP before they finally got rid of her.
Yep, Jack is probably dying seeing what is happening to GE since he left, Immelt is a loser of a CEO.
GReat endorsement in my view, Welch and Schwarzkopf were the best leaders I’ve seen or read about, I’d take Welch over Buffet in a second.
The Employee Free Choice Act. It effectively repeals right-to-work laws in many states and eliminates the secret ballot for union elections. It would effectively unionize hundreds of businesses. There are basically three heavily unionized industries in this country: carmakers, airlines, and teachers. I don’t need to tell you how those groups are faring.
Thanx
The right place at the right time for twenty years? Jack was CEO from 1981 to 2001.
Now I believe in luck, but twenty consecutive years of luck is something else.
“Union thugs get to see how you vote, no secret ballot, when deciding to unionize and allows the thugs to unionize small business as well.”
We are going to see businesses close, the likes have never been seen before. The first worker to vote against a union will be dead in 24 Hrs.
Communism/socialism at its best. Time to prepare!
Thank you Jack!
And it's clear that 70% of all CEO's think that NObama's presidency would be disastrous to business.
A lot of good information in the run up to this election, I think this is the 6th post I’ve bookmarked today.
Thanks for posting.
Not really, Jimmy Carter holds the records so far, not clear Obama will beat him out. Gonna be a close race though.
Socialists never learn.
Bingo! McCain needs the star power and more legitimacy on the economy.
And a sign of things to come for the rest of us...
