Is this legal? I mean, legally can Obama spend the money? I know they are strict with campaign donor limits and other restrictions.
Are campaigns required to specifically account for all of their money? Are they allowed to spend money from improper sources? Do they have to return such donations?
Can Obama and his people be held legally responsible for this mess? I think this would be a huge scandal if McCain and Palin had something like this happen to them, but I think it might be swept under the rug with Obama.
It’s just sickening to watch obamba get away with this crap. If a republican was doing this stuff it would be front page news.
Only a full-blown indictment by the FEC of the Obama campaign will make them mention it again, and what do you think the chances are of that happening?
I looked on the FEC website to see how to lodge a complaint, and you have to MAIL three notarized copies of any complaint.
Of course it’s not legal, but he’s made the political calculation that it’s worth the risk. Worst case: The FEC makes him pay a fine a year or two from now.

I have to admit at the start of this political year or two I donate once to Obi, then came to the light and support McCain ....I have had my credit card compromised!!! 7 times from overseas!!!! Little amounts 31.21 the 49.94 then 31.21 again then 49.94 again.....I want to check the names with the campaign contributions to Obama...how do I do this.
I am just checking, because I wouldnt put it pass them to compromise voters who gave 1 time to his website and switched.
OK, list of points.
1. Matthew Mosk is still a scumbag.
2. I’ve worked for over a year for a VAR credit card processing sales company, doing the backend work, specifically this type of issues, that is average charge per transaction, fraud detection, chargeback/return rates, etc for my ex-employer so they could properly evaulate the risk premium they would add to the transaction costs for the merchants.
3. There are AT LEAST six Democrat partisan Credit Card Merchant processing sales companies in the US, ALL of which provide the location and name verification, FREE OF CHARGE, to all local , county, state, regional and Federal Democrat campaigns that contract with them.
4. Name and Address verification is the STANDARD procedure, called AVS (Address Verification Service or System), which goes along side the CVV2 verification, it is processed concurrently by the credit card processing clearing house on separate servers, ALL Mail Order, Telephone Order (MOTO) and Internet processing providers have had this as a standard required default built-in cost and feature since AT LEAST the summer of 2002.
5. The Obama campaign is blatantly lieing, and Matthew Mosk is carrying their water. There are tens of thousands of Credit Card Merchant Processing Employees, salesmen, very large merchant account holders, bank employees, and others in the industry who IMMEDIATELY called out the Obama campaigns blatant lies and fraudulent claims regarding AVS.
6. If totaled in aggregate, the Obama campaign has committed crimes that would have several thousands of years of federal prison time if found guilty. The fraud and conspiracies to commit fraud inside election laws is so large as to be almost impossible to prosecute due to the shear volume of Federal elections law crimes.
7. The following is Mosk’s coup de grace BIG LIE in this article:
“When asked whether the campaign takes steps to verify whether a donor’s name matches the name on the credit card used to make a payment, Obama’s campaign replied in an e-mail: “Name-matching is not a standard check conducted or made available in the credit card processing industry. We believe Visa and MasterCard do not even have the ability to do this.
“Instead, the campaign does a rigorous comprehensive analysis of online contributions on the back end of the transaction to determine whether a contribution is legitimate.””
Should Obama win, this credit card donation scheme will be a thorn in the side of dems in congress. They will need to spend significant amounts of effort covering it up, while minority Republicans demand investigation. Combined with recriminations in the media, Marxist skeletons falling out of the closet in droves, and widespread disillusionment of the naive voters that have been snookered, it may be an interesting two years leading up to the 10 midterms. Or not.

Why didn’t your issuing bank give you a new card and new number to stop this after the first bad charge?
They didnt notify me until today...all charges were just posted on the 27 and 28. I noticed them also this morning after I couldnt use my card. They stopped after the 8th charge. Sound like fraud....Euro style... they must have a lot of cards....i used it last at the movies Regal Cinema.
I am sooooooo upset. End of the month...everything is going to bounce or get turned down...late fees, returned check fees....What a nightmare!!!!
MY LESSON
Protect your card folks.....for online card purchases you should use only 1 charge card....and not the one attached to your checking account. Makes sense now. One card only for online...keep accounts separate, if there is a dispute, your whole life is not put on hold as mine is right now!

Texas4ever - You MUST get the media in on this. I would suggest contacting either Sean Hannity or Greta Sustern. I suspect he’s been accepting donations from non-citizens overseas (read = terrorist organizations), and hoping someone would finally come up with some evidence. Email them: Ontherecord@foxnews.com (Greta), or hannity@foxnews.com (Sean). I bet they will get to the bottom of it.
