The last time "plumbers" were as prominent in national politics as accidental celebrity Joe "the Plumber" Wurzelbacher, they were a team of political operatives caught breaking into Democratic headquarters at the Watergate Hotel. And a taste of what we’ve been getting. For the past three decades, both parties have supported an ever increasing degree of detailed data collection on every American, along with opening all the detail up to every tom, dick, and harry with a government job, consultants, and others on the insider list. One of the reasons such activities have always been illegal in the US up to the modern period (but not in places like Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union) is that its a natural for political abuse. Information is power. None of us is safe.

That system was already in place when the Patriot Act was passed. Once any law is passed, the msm treats it as water over the dam. The debate is over. Neither party wants to lose data that can make them more powerful than any dictator in history, so they're not rocking the boat either.

The culprits should be hanged. Actually, they should have their hands chopped off, then be hanged, but I'll settle for just hanging them.

This investigation should start with Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland (D).
Strickland's Administration also includes Sec. of State Brunner (D) who has done everything possible to make illegal voting possible in this election; and former Atty. Gen. Dann (D) who famously turned the Atty. Gen.’s office into a sexual circus/harassment center and had to resign because of the scandals.
