For the Mods re: Digg campaign:
Via Freepmail: "Go for it! Thanks, Jim"
This page will be kept at the top of "Breaking News"
What we want to do is either post new Digg articles/videos, or identify already existing Digg articles/videos, that tell the REAL STORY of Barack "the socialist revolutionary" Obama. Let's come up with a TOP 5 articles and a TOP 5 videos list and use FReeper power to Digg them to the top so that non-FReepers too become aware of the most dangerous presidential candidate in our nation's history!
Please place all Digg suggestions in the threads. DO NOT PROVIDE LINKS TO NON DIGG ARTICLES AND VIDEOS. IF YOU WANT YOUR ARICLE OR VIDEO TO BE CONSIDERED, PUT IT ON DIGG FIRST AND THEN PROVIDE THE LINK.
Once the top five of each has been identified, let's all sign up over at Digg and DIGG THESE LINKS TO THE TOP!!! Then FReepmail, email, and round up people from every conservative forum you can think of and encourage them to do the same!
Please place your Digg suggestions below. Once we have settled on the initial five articles and five videos, a new post with the links will appear at the top of "Breaking News" and will be kept there!!! Remember, taken together, these links need to tell a story.
So let's get off our rear-ends, bypass the MSM, and get the vote out people!!!
It sounds like you will help make Free Republic article-free.
I like the intent, but, in practice, it will make Free Republic useless
Finally a Digg link! We might actually be getting somewhere!!!
Oh come off it, it won’t do that at all. It just focuses the power of Freep. Can’t hurt to try it.
If we like it it will fly. If it bombs, try another strategy. I don’t see the harm in a trial run. The Left isn’t sitting around, they are as activist as they have ever been since the 60’s - 70’s.
Not got it the wrong way around. If anything, it will bring people here, because in many instances we will post FR links on Digg, which will in turn take them here. The whole point is to take what is already here and project it out into the mainstream. Simply posting them here is preaching to the quire. Taking our stuff to the people is FR militant!
Here it is in Digg. I’m not quite oriented to what you are doing, though. Would you like to do?

Im going through the posts but it seems like Im searching through DU. I havent found an article yet Id like to bump to the top.
LOL...glad you asked!
You are welcome to stay behind with the women and children. The rest of us will be taking the fight to the enemy.
How about:
Joe T. Plummer?
Then post one yourself on Digg. Then give us the *Digg* link, and we’ll have FReepers Digg it to the top on Digg.
cool...we’re moving out into the great big outside world!
Just keep it off FR!
While you’re at it take all your smart ass supporters that haven’t even been here a month with you!
“Believing that the best defense is a strong offense, we (myself and those whom I’m trying to attract to FR) support the strategy of taking the fight to the enemy”....
...We are conservative activists dedicated to defending our rights, defending our constitution, defending our republic and defending our traditional American way of life....
Jim Robinson - Mission Statement
For now, we are just taking suggestions. Of the suggested Digg links, we are going to pick five articles and five video and post them on a new page. FReepers will then click each link in their turn, which will them take them over to the Digg link, at which time they will depress the Digg/vote button, thus digging the conservative article to the top. Think of it as FReeping polls, but with articles and videos instead. The higher these links get digged by FReepers, the more people read them because they get pushed to the top.
Hope this helps—GGG
Ignore those mediums at your own peril. If we dont compete in those arenas, then those who visit will only see one side to an issue. That's bad.
Its simple. Register. When a freeper diggs something, digg it yourself and leave. No harm, no foul.
Keep in mind that newer articles tend to make it to the front page quicker than older ones - the fresh factor.
There's a great video about Obama / Odinga out there on Digg
I nominate this article from yesterday. It's the "Redistribution / Constitution is Flawed" youtube video. It's already got 1000 diggs.
You don't need to provide your full name on digg, either. I know I didn't.
Someone who knows how should make a "Digg" ping list so I can put myself in it.
