The Obama rally . . . Mayor Daley's big worry: that Obama's election night rally in Grant Park could turn into a security nightmare.
• • Consider: The Obama camp is expecting 70,000 people.
• • The shocker: How about 1 million-plus trying to get in to the park if Obama is as popular as his polls suggest?
• • What if? Obama loses and tempers flare? What if the vote count is undecided that night and tensions mount?
• • To wit: "Mayor Daley doesn't want a repeat of his father's nightmare: trouble in Grant Park during the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago," said a top source. "There is also tension amongst the police rank-and-file due to contract disputes and changes instituted by new Chicago Police Supt. Jody Weis."
• • A logistical migraine: Because the Obama folks insist the venue be in the open: Do you fence off Grant Park? Imagine the traffic congestion on Lake Shore Drive.

Only way the Grant Park debacle will be any better will be to have LOTS of MSM reporters there-mingling with the disgruntled O supporters after the loss. Maybe Keith or Crissy getting a good ol’ fashioned Chi-town smackdown....

Now, now, this just demonstrates O's concern for the difficulties of small business and his education credo.

It is also intimidating to those wanting to vote for McCain. Just think you have hundreds of Obama people lined up around the polls.....they are trying to intimidate so you don’t vote for McCain. Amazing.....we live in the United States?

You know there are times when you think this is just unreal. In traveling through the Las Vegas and DFW airport yesterday it is ALL Obama....magazine covers everywhere, none for McCain or Palin....and in DFW they had in their news stands about 8 of the same covers on the wall, like pitures!!!!! This is so crazy what has happened...propaganda at its worse (or best)....
