I noticed his eyes also. I had the TV on but the sound off and when ever I would glance at his image on TV his eyes were angry and shifty looking.

Mware, I've noticed too that something has changed in his eyes over the last 6 weeks or so and it isn't exhaustion either. There is a void there...very, very eerie.
