Just the other day Rush Limbaugh observed how Republicans spend $100,000 getting women into clothes while Democrats spend $100,000 getting women out of them.

A rather trenchant and accurate observation on Limbaugh's part, I should say.

BTW, on a related subject, my father once advised me NEVER to answer the question, ''Honey, does this (dress, outfit, whatever) make me look fat?''

I have followed his very wise advice consistently.
