"We need to figure out how were going to deal with the "misery" of a McCain presidency
I believe McCain will most likely come out on top of this thing {which is now our best case scenario}
but we'll end up with many rino-esque policies under his admin which will cause conservatives real pains...
heck, McCain may even ask us to "stick with him, with his hard & unpopular decisions"
two possible silver lining being:
1.democrat party fractured & in disarray
2.Palin taking the helm (of a conservative movement) further down the road...
regardless, these sure are interesting political times we live in...
[I make the point that Bill Ayers was the Timothy McVeigh of the 60s and I provide proof they were closely linked.]
Proof they were closely linked.... oooooh tastee ;-}
Please do share?
The worst part is having to see Whoopi, Joy, Sherri,and Barbara, on THE VIEW, along with Oprah, Ellen Leno, Letterman, and all the rest of the scum in the entire entertainment industry mock and sneer for the next 4 years. Yeah, it’s easy to say avoid them, but you won’t be able to.
The flaws were within the individual states that allowed slavery, not the federal government.
Sounds good, but Obama's strategy is better:
One man: One thousand votes.
The saddest thing of all is, McCain and Palin were cruising for an easy win until the stock market fiasco. Makes one question the timing.
Michelle will be running things. We all know who wears the pants in that family.
I agree that individual state were flawed by slavery. Yet, the US Constitution was also flawed in apportionment by counting free people (ok), excluding Indians outside the system (ok), yet counting as three fifth all other Persons (not ok as it is a backhanded acceptance of slavery). We just disagree.
Article. I. Section 2 - The House
....Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons....
Well, then I guess you are just going to curl-up in the corner and surrender, eh?
The flaw was that the courts allowed it.
Hell, NO. I'm going to get as many people I knoe to vote NcCain-Palin, and also take my analyses of that bogus COLB of his and plaster it all over creation.
Had the framers disallowed slavery, the Constitution would have been rejected by the states. No Constitution, no USA.
Also, the states did not grant the feds the power to eradicate slavery, thus the courts could not eliminate it.
