If anyone from Sean's show prep staff read this thread, the important point to emphasize with regard to Obama's view of the Constitution and the issue of abortion is as follows:

In order to extend abortion rights to include infants forced to be born prematurely, Obama sought through legislation blocking to remove Constitutional Rights from born alive infants; Barack Obama was seeking to defend a killing method which forced premature birth of alive infants, then killed these struggling to breathe little ones via purposed neglect so these compeltely separate from a woman's body infants eventually die via suffocation/exposure.

Barack Obama, working in the Illinois legislature, tried to cancel the Constitutional Human Rights of newborn children so long as a woman wanted an abortionist to kill that child. Obama tried to protect the murdering of these forced prematurely born children.

Mother Sauces, Part Two

Sean Hannity Thread Eats 10/27/08

The chef is here. Good eats for everyone.

Sauce is a French word taken from the Latin salsus, meaning salted. Antonin Careme, founding father of French "grande cuisine," came up with the methodology in the early 1800's by which hundreds of sauces would be categorized under five Mother Sauces, and there are infinite possibilities for variations, since the sauces are all based on a few basic formulas.
Sauce Béchamel (white)
Sauce Espangnole (brown)
Sauce Hollandaise (butter) and Sauce Mayonnaise (egg)
Tomato Sauce (red)
Velouté Sauce (blond)

The simplest tomato sauces consist just of chopped fresh tomato (skins and seeds optional), cooked in a little olive oil and simmered until it loses its raw flavour, and seasoned with salt. Water is often added to keep it from drying out too much. Onion and garlic are almost always sautéed at the beginning before the tomato is added. Other seasonings typically include black pepper, basil, oregano, and parsley. Ground or chopped meat is also common.
Pizza and Spaghetti Bolognese

A velouté (veh-loo-TAY) sauce is a light stock (one in which the bones used have not been roasted), such as chicken, veal or fish stock, thickened with a blond roux. It is often served on poultry or seafood dishes, and is used as the base for other sauces. Sauces derived from a velouté sauce include Allemande sauce (by adding lemon juice, egg yolks, and cream), suprême sauce (by adding mushrooms and cream to a chicken velouté), and Bercy sauce (by adding shallots and white wine to a fish velouté).
Velouté de Carottes a l'Orange and Chicken with Sauce Suprême

'La bonne cuisine est la base du véritable bonheur.' - Auguste Escoffier

Here ... work N lurk mode ON.

Pass this on to all PUMA's:

Question to the P.U.M.A.s: Barack Obama? Hillary Clinton? WTF??? Ace did this a week or so ago, so I run the risk here of being derivative, but WTF do I care? OK, here's the thing: PUMAs and conservatives (though apparently not Republicans in general) have a common enemy. The Obama Machine screwed Hillary and her supporters over in the primary, and is set to screw the nation over in the next four years. Let's be honest. Obama will, quite frankly, be a boon for the GOP if he's elected. If even HALF of Obama's policies are put into place, we can reasonably expect that the nation's "Joe the Plumber" and "Sarah the Gunner" types will recoil in horror and throw the incumbents out of office in 2010--thus creating a "windfall" for the GOP that, quite franly, they don't even come close to deserving. Sad but true. Thus, if you are a big believer in the Democrat Party uber alles, there is every reason for you, as a party activist, to oppose Obama's candidacy on purely tactical and strategic grounds. If you subscribe to that way of thinking, my question is not directed to you. My question is directed to the PUMAs, if any, who oppose Barack Obama because they believe, in their hearts, that Barack Obama has amply demostrated, by his tactics and philosophy, that he is simply WRONG FOR AMERICA. To those PUMAs, my question is this: what is it that keeps us apart? What is it, in other words, that you find unacceptable or undesirable about the "conservative" philosophy? Is it the "limited government" thing? The pro-life thing? The gun thing? Taxes? Spending? Borders and immigration? It occurs to me that we may have "irreconcilable differences." It also occurs to me that we may not. Your thoughts? http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/194574.php

Sorry Sean, you are mistaken. An Obama presidency will not result in European style socialism. It will more closely resemble the government in Colombia and morph into Zimbabwe.

Mark Steyn

The world rarely stands as one. You can, as Reagan and Thatcher did, stand up. Or, like Obama voting “present”, you can stand down.

Nobody denies that, in promoting himself from “community organizer” to the world’s President-designate in nothing flat, he has shown an amazing and impressively ruthless single-mindedness. But the path of personal glory has been, in terms of policy and philosophy, the path of least resistance.

Peggy Noonan thinks a President Obama will be like the dog who chases the car and finally catches it: Now what? I think Obama will be content to be King Barack the Benign, Spreader of Wealth and Healer of Planets. His rise is, in many ways, testament to the persistence of the monarchical urge even in a two-century old republic. So the “Now what?” questions will be answered by others, beginning with the liberal supermajority in Congress. And as he has done all his life he will take the path of least resistance. An Obama Administration will pitch America toward EU domestic policy and UN foreign policy. Thomas Sowell is right: It would be a “point of no return”, the most explicit repudiation of the animating principles of America. For a vigilant republic of limited government and self-reliant citizens, it would be a Declaration of Dependence.

If a majority of Americans want that, we holdouts must respect their choice. But, if you don’t want it, vote accordingly.
