Although the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama's birth certificate has become a focus of intense speculation – and even several lawsuits – it has been learned that Hawaii's Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate's birth certificate under seal and instructed the state's Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances.

Ditto and bump.. unless ordered by a court, the release is in Obama's hands- it is far more telling he is refusing to do so.
I’m just saying that Lingle respects the law and doesn’t want what happend in OH to occur on her watch.
A question> If the Governor has his birth certificate doesn’t that mean Obama was born in America?

Do you see any evidence anywhere that suggests Obama is going to be held accountable for anything?

I had to get some copies of mine too....it takes forms and money and proof of when and where and stuff about the parents that most folks might not know
i do wonder though why on earth Obama will not release an affadavit style copy to the press

It may be a simple case that the FEC accepts the COLB as legal proof. After all, if real, it is a legal document authorized by the State. I really doubt they will trump something they get from the State with a bunch of blogger speculation.

Maybe the Governor is preserving the validity of the original Birth Certificate. If Zero produces what he purports to be a birth certificate and presents it as valid, maybe that would allow the state to “unseal” their copy. Should the two differ at all, Barry’s would be exposed as fake and he would have inadvertently released that which he has tried to hide. I don’t know, just hoping that is her motivation.
Actually, when he announced he was leaving the campaign trail to visit his dying grandmother, I believed him.
But when he didn’t leave the campaign trial for another five days and returned after only an hour visit, I don’t believe him!

If this is a requisite for being POTUS, how on earth can it be sealed?????
According to the article:
"The source also refused to answer question whether the original document on file with the Department of Health was a hospital-generated birth certificate or a registration of birth that may have been filed subsequent to the birth."
So it could be that it's a "Certificate of Live Birth" that was obtained after the birth...which could have been somewhere else to my understanding.

No doubt all the lib dims working in Hawaii GOV, would really like to sitcheroo the vault copy. With nobama only sepnding a an hour a day with Granny while in Hawaii, what the hell else was he up to, if not trying to CYA on the Birth Cert.?
