Although the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama's birth certificate has become a focus of intense speculation – and even several lawsuits – it has been learned that Hawaii's Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate's birth certificate under seal and instructed the state's Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances.

You mean that a Republican Govenor is actually is making sure the rule of law is followed and respected? OH state employees perused and released Joe The Plumber's info illegally. It not OK when we do it or allow it to happen.
If it indeed exists(which I doubt), obama can direct them to release it at any time....so really this changes nothing.
This is ridiculous! There’s lawsuits across the country and we need to know the truth! If Obama was (and most likely) born in another country, we need to know!
It’s like so many people in our country are clearing all “obstacles,” to “prepare the way for The One.”

Birth certificates are public records, like your tax assessment. They are not sealed without a reqason. what do you think that reason is?
