Eye on 2012 ?
Romney isn't such a bad guy, but he leans in a Liberal Republican direction, and the GOP really needs to stop that nonsense. To the extent that Romney supporters are trying to prepare the ground and get positions of power for a future campaign, I would prefer that they be stopped.
Romney vs Palin is going to be an interesting battle. Romney needs to remember that many supported him simply to stop McCain, not because they thought he was the next Reagan.

Already posted, and let’s not blame romney for some loser ex-staffers.
Beatty will unfortunately lose. I voted for him (absentee since I am in CT for school) but doubt most in Mass. will be smart enough to vote Kerry out once and for all..... although, there are a few changes in the state that are giving me more hope
my guess is Romney doesn’t want to be involved not because of Palin but because he sees Beatty losing and doesn’t want to spend resources on a losing campaign. Could be wrong though.
Who cares about this crap right now?
We have an election to win. We have a country to save!
The Marxist Liberals want all of this infighting. Shall we disappoint them?
People should take very careful note of the names of the people who are the first rats of the ship they presume to be sinking in 2008. There is every reason to suspect they will do the same thing in 2010 and 2012.
Any Repulican candidate who does not want to be shivved in the back at the most crucial moment in a campaign would be wise to avoid these people in the future. They have demonstrated their MO. Frankly, for a lot of these guys, they are doing so for the second or third time.
If Romney had been chosen, at least he would have been more conversant with the economic issues foremost in the minds of the public right now. McCain never was my first choice, but that’s who we’ve got, and I support him and Palin over the Marxist Obama.
This bunch of MSM lies and crap is already posted here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2116314/posts
I was against Romney from the get go - he is not a conservative, he is not a team player and he is arrogant. If he is truly “conservative,” why be against Palin? She is probably the most conservative candidate that has run for VP or Pres since Reagan.
He helped raise money for Planned Parenthood and supported gay rights until it was time to run for president. He supported a bail out bill in Michigan during the primaries before it was popular. He enacted government run health care, that pays for abortions, in MA. But, he was so much better than Huckabee according to our supposed conservative leaders.
What a joke.
Romney is campaigning for McCain, today.
Ignore the media; ignore the fabricated polls. Full steam ahead to Nov 4.
