If Romney had been chosen, at least he would have been more conversant with the economic issues foremost in the minds of the public right now. McCain never was my first choice, but that’s who we’ve got, and I support him and Palin over the Marxist Obama.
Romney would be polling at 30% or so right now with all the anger towards corporate CEOs. Every person laid off by a company he “turned around” would be spouting off in ads against him.
