This is why the Web in general, and the Blogosphere in particular, are so great. In the pre-Internet era, the MSM had the power to completely bury this story. Nowadays, no. BTW, just out of curiosity, does anybody, outside of doctors and dentists for their waiting rooms, actually BUY Time or Newsweek? There is absolutely NO reason to shell out money for those periodicals. By the time those magazines hit the newstands, the news they cover is already old news.

Some people do still buy them. I’m a mail carrier, so I delivery the darn things. But I think the reason is that it is a cultural thing. If you are a responsible, thoughtful and up on current events you have a Newsweek sitting on your coffee table and last weeks edition in the bathroom:)

Boy, you know it!

Your doc & dentist have recent copies, not just the issues that are a couple of years old? LOL

They send me Time and Newsweek without me ordering it, hoping I’ll put it in my waiting room. After shredding them I told the ‘rats at Time to stick their marxist rag

My very lib (and willfully ignorant) MIL gets ALL her news from Newsweak. If it’s not in there, it didn’t happen, and she has actually said that she’ll wait to form her opinion about any topic until she reads what they have to say about it.

Oh, and they’re unbiased - they have no reason to slant a story.
