JERUSALEM - The board of a nonprofit organization on which Sen. Barack Obama served as a paid director alongside a confessed domestic terrorist granted funding to a controversial Arab group that mourns the establishment of Israel as a "catastrophe" and supports intense immigration reform, including providing drivers licenses and education to illegal aliens.
The co-founder of the Arab group in question, Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, also has held a fundraiser for Obama. Khalidi is a harsh critic of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a terror group.
In 2001, the Woods Fund, a Chicago-based nonprofit that describes itself as a group helping the disadvantaged, provided a $40,000 grant to the Arab American Action Network, or AAAN, for which Khalidi's wife, Mona, serves as president. The Fund provided a second grant to the AAAN for $35,000 in 2002.

Not a Boca Rotten paper - it’s a Ft. Lauderdale paper, widely read from Miami to the Palm Beaches.
Jew or Israel in the title will their draw attention...
There are many holocaust survivors still living in Hallandale and Hollywood Beach - they will notice.
ping
Marxist, and probably pro-Nazism
IIRC their culture accents what can be collectively instead of individually.
Jessie Jackson Jr
My orthodox Jewish cousins always vote for Republicans:) It’s my non-religious liberal NYC dwelling relatives who are going to vote for Obama.
My dad also has a Jewish friend who is a far left radical, but is very pro-Israel. She can’t accept that many leftists are anti Israel. And she always winds up blaming it on conservatives. Figures.
Lieberman should be in South Florida, hitting this hard.
have a link? thanks

Another revealing thing (besides leaving “Obama” out of the headline) is the name some staffer gave to the story.
It has a much larger circulation in S. Palm Beach County than the Palm Beach Post. South Palm County includes Boca.
It’s reach is N Dade County, all of Broward County and most fo S. Palm Beach Co. This is where the majority of Jewish voters in FL live.
Some will read it but some would pull a D in the voting booth if Arafat had a D after his name. Osama is supposed to get 57% of the Jewish vote in FL versus 77% for Kerry in 2004. I think Obama will get just under 50% in FL which is another reason why O should lose in FL.
Wrong Jesse Jackson.
Exactly my first thoughts as well...they did this so it wouldn’t come up in google searches. Bastards. Pure Bias.
some (Jews) would pull a D in the voting booth if Arafat had a D after his name
NO kidding...I would add Hitler—the great national socialist.
“Why does the Jewish vote always go to Dems?”
Perhaps they believe that the way to survival is to make nicey with the people who despise them?
I was told by a Rabbi in Israel that the Jews in America were discriminated against since the end of WWII. They were not allowed to join Country Clubs or move into certain neighborhoods. If a real estate agent did sell a home to a Jew they lost their commission. I know I live in one of those neighborhoods.
Kind of makes one wonder if all the Jewish liberal left in the US actually have a death wish or just love the eventuality of being made into victims—AGAIN.
didn’t realize the distribution was that wide. It certainly is an instrument of propaganda and disinformation, in any event. Anytime I need to get my dose of 1984 ignorance is strength goodfacts, I can check it out for a depressing few minutes.
The Sun-Sentinel covers the gap between the circulation of the Miami Herald and the Palm Beach Post.
My home town is Hollywood, where I lived for 42 years. In '99 we moved to Marion County and absolutely love it here. What a difference!
I do wax nostalgic and can recall how wonderful South Florida was back when I was a kid in the 60s.
But you're right, people know this isn't your ordinary democrat this time around - Bill Clinton was the "Test socialist", but Obama is the real deal bonifide MARXIST.
Good for you for getting the h*ll out of Dodge. I was born in Ft Liquordale but it is no longer very pleasant down here. Childhood in 1970s, young adult 1980s etc. I hopefully will be moving to north FL in the near future.
I think all the Blue Dog Dems in N and central FL go for McCain.
