The man the GOP loves to hate tiptoed out of hiding Sunday - if only to blast Fox News and the rest of the media for his predicament.
William Ayers, the '60s radical who is one of John McCain's talking points in his criticism of Barack Obama, told a Manhattan panel discussion audience he was tired of being used as cannon fodder in America's political wars.
"[Fox host] Bill O'Reilly comes on his show and first thing he says is, 'Why won't this Ayers story die?'" Ayers told well-wishers. "And then he spends 10 minutes talking about it."
Ayers, a University of Illinois education professor in Chicago, has mostly kept a low profile since McCain started using him as a poster boy for Obama's supposed left-wing leanings.

I'm trying to remember who the comedian was who told this joke:
Sirhan Sirhan's parole hearing came up the other day, and he spoke in his own defense... "If Robert Kennedy were alive today, he would tell you that he's forgiven me, and that I should be released."
Wow, what a bummer. The one guy in the world who would speak in Sirhan Sirhan's defense, and Sirhan murders him!

inciting it would be against the rules, and probably against the law. Hoping he meets some untoward end and cheering if he’s pushing daisies is completely acceptable.
How do you get over a man that wanted to put us in prison camps in the southwest and exterminate 25 million of us?
America to Bombing Billy- KISS MY RED WHITE AND BLUE ASS, YOU RAPIST!!!!!!!!!

He’s thumbing his nose at the entire country because he thinks his bunch is in control. He could be right. The left has been very patient. Voters who haven’t understood the urgency of this situation may find it too late for them to make their voices heard over the organized pack mentality of “Democrat” toadies and the outright fraud of government-sponsored “get out the vote” efforts, courtesy of the leftists incumbents who have controlled the darkest corners of this country for decades and their friends in the yellow press. The far left is confident now because they think it is too late for anyone to challenge them.
I have no link (I know, boo hiss on me), but my understanding of the NY case was that the charges were dropped due to issues with the way critical evidence was obtained. I’m thinking wiretapping issues, but could be really wrong.
Good old Ted Baxter.
Were any civil cases launched at Ayers by the relatives of bombing victims?
I know he got off due to illegal wire taps, but does that clear him from civil court as well?
This puke is a poser and a snitch.

He’s a punk and a pimp for anarchy.
He isn’t laying too low when there was a shot of him this morning of a news person trying to get an interview and he was wearing a black shirt with a large red star on the front.
He’s still a commie bastard!
Why is a bomb-throwing terrorist on our streets? That is insanity! Why is he even alive?
After seeing Ayers run away from O’Reilly’s reporter and then call the cops to protect him, I would think this cowardly creep would want to keep out of sight.
Yeah, it was rather rich for that piece of excrement to call the police for help — here is a guy who is an avid supporter of cop-murderer Mumia, and a guy who advocated killing police in his own WeatherFreaks band of terrorists, a guy who was at least closely involved with the terrorists who DID kill police officers (and Ayers was very likely an immediate part of the WeatherFreak gang that bombed a northern CA police station, killing one officer and maiming another).
Yeah, sure Bill Ayers, you loathsome little anus, go running to the police whose protection you have done nothing in your squalid worthless life to deserve.....
Ayers is a punk and has never grown up. Daddy protected him all his life and he’s never faced up to what he did in any real sense. He belongs in prison.
Ayers was and probably still is well politically connected. This, in addition to his parents being very wealthly is what got him off. To a lesser extent, so was Jane Fonda.
My opinion is that they both should have been hanged from the same telephone pole.
Message to Bill Ayers: Get a new jacket.
