Ron Howard For Obama: Although not particularly funny (like the Mac-PC commercials) or substantive (like the Mac-PC commercials) this celebrity endorsement is sort of amazing.
It seems to me that actors/actresses/entertainers risk more by endorsing a candidate than the candidate gains. Do you know anyone at all who is voting for a particular candidate because of an entertainer’s endorsement? Do you know any voters who will boycott a particular entertainer because of a political endorsement?
It would be nice if they would have ejected him with the lunar module from Apollo 13. That would have been Hollywood at its finest.
Now, it is difficult-—no impossible—for me to see movies where the actors have been on a polotical soapbox. I can’t get into the role they are playing.
the old movie studios knew what they were doing when they kept their big actors out of any controversy. they were protecting their “product”...and that’s what actors are...a product that is used in films.

I haven't been in a movie theater in 22 years because I decided that I didn't want my money going to the liberal actors.
I own only about only a couple dozen DVD’s - 99% of which were bought used and therefore my money didn't go to the liberal actors.
As for movies and TV shows - there are a lot of them that I won't watch because of the liberal actors in them.
I know my personal boycott doesn't make a dent in the profits or salaries of these people but it makes me feel better.
Go ahead and endorse Obama, Howard. Hooray for Hollyweird.

Ron Howard wants us to vote with “courage and vision”. These are words which will come back to haunt this pathetic dupe if the man he endorsed but failed even to describe gets in.
