Maybe this is what Biden was alluding to. A future Secretary of State Daschle in the Obama administration saying: “I am deeply saddened about the nuking of Israel by Iran. This is an unfortunate situation that can only be handled by sitting down to a dialogue with the Iranian government. Any attempts by the remaining Israelis to retaliate will be an act of war against the United States.”
