Good news: the DUmmies are freaking over a single not-terrible Zogby polling day for McCain:

Remember Zogby is doing a 3 day tracking poll that currently shows that Obama is leading by 9.5%. Continuing along that route he might slowly reduce Obama’s lead but not get it down significantly. I have criticized Zogby harshly in the last few days for being in the tank for Obama. i still think he is. But I never said he was stupid. He sees the trends in his own state polls, he has contacts with other pollsters, he pretty well knows what the lay of the land is looking like right now and quite honestly i think he’s shocked that McCain’s ‘real’ support level has not caved in and apparently does not look like it’s about to cave in. He could do one of two things: stay arrogant and stubborn and continue to insist that McCain will be going down big time or get real and admit that this election is not over. So he had to come up with a way to convey this message without conveying the fact that the recent results of his tracking poll are insane. That’s the reason for the one day separate poll, independent of the results of the 3 day tracking poll to get his results more in line with reality for the time being. Remember he supposed to be a professional pollster. Once one’s credibility is shot, you never get it back.

umm I don't know about that. It's pretty hard to get 49% of the country who hate your guts to start liking you again.

We have heard this since before the last debate. It didn't materialize, and became source of more doubts.

Do not fear, Freepers, I am new to the site and first want to say thank you. Thank you for giving me hope and letting me see the light of these lies. I have good news to report, however small it may be.
I live in east/central Ohio. I am on the border of Ohio, WV, and PA. Today, I went to Pittsburgh today, taking the scenic route of 40+ miles of PA roads (with about 5 miles of WV thrown in). I wanted to count the signs I saw on the way. On my way back I counted 16 McCain Palin signs (which included 2 from WV) and 3 Obama signs (None in Wv).
Do know this, Ohio and WV are for McCain. I have a friend who works very, very high up in the McCain campaign and she says WV is a lock, and living in Ohio, although it will be close, McCain will win.
As far as PA goes, I am shocked and elated at the support McCain is getting. Believe me, for Western PA to have that many McCain/Palin signs is unheard of! When I got into the city, I did see 3 Obama stickers (one was from a Mryland vehicle), but I thought that paled in comparison.
We must continue to work freepers! PUMA’s, you are doing fantastic, keep it up! If you know someone undecided, talk to them about an important issue TO THEM and recruit them to McCain. If you know someone who refuses to vote for McCain, recruit them to Nader! We can do this, and what I saw today proves it!
We cannot let this country go this way. Pray, work, and pray some more!
